The restaurant looks stunning and the staff was very professional and efficient. Food is very nice and I would say these were the best ever vegetable I had in my life. Watatsumi is definitely very high up on my personal favourite list of London restaurants.

Overall I was happy that I came to this restaurant and it well worth the money and I can recommend this restaurant.

Impressed with Watasumi, the food was excellent with my entire guest just having the highest praise, the staff were friendly, and the service was par excellence, very attentive and knowledgeable.

As a food critic from the US, Watasumi is worth every cent and penny and if looking for excellent Japanese food in London.

Would rate Watasumi to the big names of Japanese cuisine such as Matsuhisa or Asanebo in LS, Nobu in New York, Sushi Ran in Frisco, Kinugawa or Aida in Paris and the very best in Tokyo’s Hamaday.

I would highly recommend Watasumi, worth every cent.

Not impressed. Dining room empty 6 - 8 pm during holiday season (14 Dec). When we ordered, three items we wanted were not available, one due to sustainability issues (so why is it on the menu then?) Service was ok but given we were the only two people at the bar I shouldn't have had to signal to someone that I wanted to order my first drink. We had the very expensive waygu rolls and didn't care for them at all. On the plus side, they comp'ed us a drink due to not liking the waygu.

Will not return, will tell friends to avoid.

I did try this new restaurant, I found the staff a bit green but very friendly, the food was good especially the sea bass with shiso butter, my girlfriend really loved it.

Myself I did go for the beef wasabi sauce, I found it very tasty, value for money. overall was everything good. Definitely going back.

Well where can I start.....the food is a disaster! The food coming out of the hot kitchen is a reflection of a chef who does not know anything about japanese food.

There are too many restaurants opening boasting of a chef that came from nobu which frankly means nothing. The dishes are so ill composed that they do not resemble anything remote to japanese cuisine. Is it a lack of creativity or knowledge about japanese food I wonder?

Black cod in miso, Tuna in ponzu, udon noodle soups....It is frightening to say the least.

The people at this restaurant do not know what they are doing!
