Kadiri's

We ate here recently and were disappointed. The service was polite but slow, the atmosphere was non existent (no alcohol on sale and we weren't allowed bring our own in, I presume this is on religious grounds but I think they could make it clear before you order!). Lastly and most importantly the food was average. I could name other Indian restaurants in NW London which are far better but I think that would be unfair on these people as they were polite.

If it was much cheaper you could say it was the type of place that you could get one of those "really cheap curries" but it was average price.

We wont be going back. Bad atmosphere, average food, not cheap, no alcohol and a monument to someone who has died (I'm sure well meant, but in a restaurant?) all add up to a not so good eating experience.

I have to say that I don't understand that somebody can say that the food isn't good.

This is one of the best quality Indian food you can get in London. Yes, maybe the restaurant is not as fancy as some other Indian restaurants. But hey, I rather eat amazing food, than eat bad food and sit next to some amazing fountain.

We treat ourselves with the take away, as we have a little son and it is hard to get out these days. Nothing can stop us to miss out on Kadiri!

Starters were great but the mains disappointing. Service exemplary. There is a memorial stone (think gravestone) in the middle of the restaurant which is a little off-putting. Not licensed and not bring your own either - so be warned. I haven't been back - saying that my neighbour swears by the place. I prefer Geeta's down the road.

i must say this was the best Indian i had in ages food i must say was quite magnificent. atmosphere was ok but could be better, but after got speaking with the owner i was told a refurb was soon on the cards, i am sure after that this place is going be the best place to eat in London .

I have used this site to try out several restaurants that I havent been to before and usually the reviews are spot on. This place seems to have a take it or leave it effect on its diners as there are real mixed reviews ! Im afraid Im with the "leave it" crowd. There was nothing wrong with the food, but it wasn't great. The service was patchy and the atmoshpere was non existent. Its not just because its more of a cafe than a restaurant that I say this. Ive been to several excellent Indian cafe type establishments where the food and atmosphere were great! I might use it for a take away but even then I think there are much better Indian restaurants in North West London.

Kadiri's is fantastic,

Great food, buzzing atmosphere and a great service.

I would highly recommended them.

Bottom line is this if you want a freshly made meal with great quality then Kadiri's is for you. They have never let me down once.

A little disappointed by this place after reading so many good recent reviews. Sure, the food is fairly delicious and good value-for-money and that should be the most important consideration and the service was attentive, but all this was let down so much by the atmosphere. It feels so cramped inside and doesn't make a particularly good place to take your parents or girlfriend. Perhaps it is a venue that suits to take a few close friends who live near by, but you certainly shouldn't go out of your way to go this place. I also felt that the menu was lacking in description, and could have sold the food that was on offer a lot better.

Please note that this is a halal restaurant and consequently no alcohol can be bought or consumed on the premises.

Went to eat here on Saturday night. All I can say is it's fantastic. The food was fresh the meat biryani was exquisite. We had the masala ribs which were a bit too spicy for me so stuck to the casava. The Karahi chicken was loved by my group as was the butter chicken. The naan bread was soft and freshly made. Will visit here again very soon.

Excelent food and fantastic atmosphere!

Im jelouse of everyone who has possibility to eat it every day... Im far away at the moment and i can only remember how goot it is.... I trully reccomend!

Having lived in London for over 23 years, I am yet to find an indian restaurant to rival Kadiri's for their exceptional cuisine. For a restaurant of this quality I was amazed to find it in Willesden as I feel a restaurant which provides food at such excellence will be better suited to central london. The size and location may let it down as its often busy however it no doubtedly has provided exceptional quality food for the 23 years I have been dining there. If you are after great Indian food and don't want to spend years searching for a quality indian restaurant, visit Kadiri's. Don't just take my word for it, because I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
