I have never walked out of a restaurant in my life so this was a first, do not eat here ... I even wrote to complain and heard nothing back.

Disappointing and overpriced food. The potato cake was overcooked, the calves liver tough, and cod dish over-salted. This place is definitely all about the bar, not the restaurant.

went with 2 girlfriends hoping for night of cocktails and chat. cocktails great (but you knew that!). Food good - nice options for veggies. Very, very noisy (but it was a saturday night) and the party crowd downstairs soon found their way upstairs to restuarant once diners began trickling out. Overall good fun lively venue with good value food. Probably not the place for romantic tete-a-tete come the weekend but great for groups and girly nights out.

Strange to be reviewing a restaurant you didn't actually manage to eat in, but our experience was so disappointing I wanted to flag it up to warn others.We booked to eat here for my daughter's 21st - a difficult time to get a good place to go because it is just a few days after New Year and fell on a Sunday but they said it would be fine. We phoned to check - sorry no details of your booking, but don't worry we have them now, it will be fine. Turned up, they had no record of us and the restaurant area was shut. Stranded in Greenwich with nowhere special for daughter's 21st - AFTER all the checking. Even then, would have accepted an apology and explanation and offer of some sort of compensation - so I wrote to the manager. Heard nothing back...wrote again ....and to this day have never had a

response. Pretty hard to forgive people for messing up your daughter's 21st - but even worse when they don't have the decency/courtesy and business sense to respond to your written complaint! Be warned.....

Love this place - don't let the LLB tags put you off! It's very refreshing to find somewhere that looks so fabulous (if a little kitsch) but isn't staffed by a team of wannabes who think they're doing you a favour! I've been for drinks with friends, meals with parents, romantic tete-a-tetes with my partner, and it has always been a pleasure. The best bit, over and above the decor, the ambience, even the excellent cocktail list and the food is the absolutely faultless and charming service every time. If you haven't been, do try it.
