Cantinetta

Have eaten here a few times and it's great - not the best location for a restaurant, relatively far from transport links, but round the corner from where I live. Hope these guys stay the course because the food is fresh, inventive, light and delicious. And competitively priced. Warm stylish interior and friendly helpful staff (all Italian). They have a good selection of wines by the glass or 250ml carafe if you're just popping in for midweek dinner. Not eaten in the bar area yet but it's certainly a nice alternative to beer and crisps in a pub. Recommended.

Great dinner at Cantinetta

Risotto with bone marrow and saffron has to be the best in London, all very good value for this standard of cooking (they even have a lunch deal at £10.00 for pasta and glass of wine... bargain)

Service was welcoming and professional

Will definitely go back

We had a warm welcome here on one of the coldest nights of the year and the interior does not disappoint. Very modern Italian and with a very good looking art collection.

The menu varied and interesting - portions slightly on the small side but well cooked and very tasty. Service was attentive and friendly.

Only two problems that could be easily addressed. Firstly, despite it not nearly being full, we could not hear ourselves speak. There are only hard surfaces everywhere so sound just bounces off and deafens you - could they do something about this?

Secondly, the lighting was so moody that none of us could read the menu (grey font on darkish paper). Perhaps redirect one or two of the spots from the (lovely) pictures on to the tables?

Would like to go back but only if we can hear and see ourselves!
