Had a meal here last night (Wednesday eve). The place was empty, we were the only people in it.

The lady told us they didn't have 4 of the dishes on the menu, one being chorizo (my fave). They also wouldn't give us a wine list as didn't have much wine in stock!

The food came out and was awful, I've eaten in a lot of tapas places and this was the worst and portions tiny for the price compared to other tapas places. Garlic prawns that were flavourless, meatballs that were awful, the Spanish omelette I could have made better, the calamares - well we got 4 rings....., the patas bravas wasn't potatoes in sauce...it was roast potatoes plain, with a spoon full of sauce in a dish on the side.

I had diet coke, this was cheap and watered down, and orange juice no better.

Worst restaurant I've eaten at ever.

Oh and the waitress smelt of cigarette smoke, she gave us the bill and 5 mins took the bill back assuming we had put money in, we hadn't yet. Give us time!

Well what an unknown gem this place is. I have to admit I was amazed by how good the food was and was just expecting the ususal standard of pre-prepared tapas but no, this is really the good stuff. The new head chef seems to have loads of ideas and the dishes and quality were surprising and delicious. We ate our way through some melt in your mouth croquetts, jamon with caviar, musells to die for as well as some of the usual favourites - chorizo in a beautiful red wine sauce, meatballs and bravas. The wine list isn't extensive but then it doesn't need to be. Go and try this place they really deserve to do well and their food deserves to be eaten.

Just had a fantastic meal after work. The tapas was the best I'd eaten outside of Spain - food was fantastic, service attentive and well informed and atmosphere really welcoming.
