Found this place by chance yesterday but have made a note of its address for my next visit to the West End as they serve the best grilled fish with new potatoes I have tasted. Excellent service even though they appeared to be catering for a massive coach party downstairs.

went here for a midweek late lunch last week. it was v quiet, and the service was

attentive and quick

the food though was DELICIOUS ! if it wasn't for the truly horrible glass of coca cola, i would have had no hesitation in giving this lovely eaterie 9.5/10 !

you'll be hard put to find tastier fish and chips in london !!!

The food was slightly above average, but the service was shockingly bad. It wasn't even a busy time when we went there, but the waiters just seem to be so thick that they don't understand the meaning of waiting on people or "Can we have the bill, please?"

However, if you are willing to sit quietly and not make a fuss the manager is very nice and will give you money off or free drinks.

This was a brilliant restaurant which our group of five (age range 13-80) thoroughly enjoyed. The fish was fresh and delicious, and the chips were not greasy. For those who don't like eating something as heavy and fatty as battered fish, there is grilled fish as well as a range of other options. You could have a hot mug of tea if you wanted and even bread and butter. There were not many people dining, which is a pity as it's the best fish and chips we've had in a long time. The prices were reasonable for the location and quality (£11.95 for a cod and chips)! The portions were generous and included mushy peas and tartare sauce. It's only been open two weeks and we hope it does as well as it deserves. :D
