The Brasserie

I tried the Times "Lunch for a Tenner" offer at the Hilton Brasserie, on balance I gave the food a rating of four. The starter, a Tomato and Mozzarella Salad was fine and was a generous amount, a glass of red wine was included -which I've forgotten the details of- and was surprisingly good, but, and it's a big but, my main course of Ginger-scented Duck Confit was very poor, the flavours didn't complement each other at all and after a few mouthfuls I couldn't face any more. The restaurant is next to Paddington station and seems quite popular with business travellers and has quite a nice atmosphere.
