Arrived on May 11th about 8pm/8.30 Couldnt have been made more welcome. We were a party of 9 people. Had a short wait while they arranged tables. There was a variety of food. Enough for everyone to have something they liked. Every time you went up to help yourself clean cutlery was placed by the time you came back. We had a most enjoyable evening and were not rushed to leave.

What can I say other than a big huge thank you to Raymond Lau and his team for a memorable evening. I went along with 6 of my close friends to this lovely restaurant 24/09/11 to celebrate my 40th birthday. I was a little apprehensive after reading all the negative reviews, but there really was no need at all. Myself and all my guests were made feel very welcome by the staff and a good time was had by all. People were queueing out the door when we got there so an extremely popular place to eat and I can understand why!
The food was wonderful. It was hot and extremely tasty. The Brisket, oh my god I could have just kept eating it. It just melted in the mouth. There was plenty of food there and a wide variety and it was regularly replenished unlike some other places I have eaten where the food is just left sitting under the hot lamps.
If I had to say something negative about the evening it would be there was no duck and pancakes and everyone in my group did comment on that, but you know what get over it! There was so much other nice food there and our stomachs were just not big enough.
I will definitely be returning to Hong Kong Buffet when I am in London again as 10.95 per head was fantastic value, and I would recommend it for anyone who likes eating in these buffet restaurants. I do advise you pre book like I did to save the queueing.

We visited this restaurant with a groupon voucher that claimed to be valid for three months seven days a week. We arrived sat afternoon during Chinese new year. Not being familiar with Chinese culture we were unaware of this. once we started to eat we were aggressively told my manager that he did not want to start the new year by losing money to groupon vouchers!!! Staff are rude and this restaurant is like a money making conveyor belt!!! Was totally embarrassing being shouted at in a full resteraunt. Food below average and hospitality atrocious- would avoid at all costs!!

If you happen to be around the centre, and you are craving for Chinese, Soho is the place to be but choosing a restaurant sometimes isn't easy. You have to choose no more, just look straight for The Hong Kong Buffet, in Lisle st. Make sure you are hungry as you will want to taste everything, but have space for the pork meat balls, mmmmmm delicious. You can eat as much as you want in the Buffet section, excellent value for money, and the food is so tasty that you want to keep eating! The staff is friendly and the atmosphere very familiar, so it's a little piece of China in the heart of London. Not to be missed!!!

Had a great meal here last night. Food was fantastic and the staff really helpful. As they were full in their main dining room upstairs we were seated in the function room. Staff offered to help carry the food downstairs from the buffet. Both my wife and mum really enjoyed the evening as well.
