Our family enjoyed a fine Indian dinner at Nirvana tonight, after reading the recommendations for Nirvana on this website. The service was prompt, very friendly, and catered to our requests. The food was excellent, as good or better than any Indian food we have had in the UK or the US. Nirvana has several private dining rooms, and we were lucky to find one that was available. It is unusual to have private dining at a restaurant, and it is always a special treat. The food, service, and price make Nirvana an outstanding value, expecially compared to its nearby competitor. We highly recommend Nirvana, and we will certainly dine there again.

Visited Nirvana recently and was very surprised. The staff were friendly and the food was fantastic. I'm vegetarian and was very happy with a choice they offer.

This restuarant had a nice frehness to it, and we found the food busting with flavours! The Prawn Masala was absolutely gorgeous and the Stuffed Chicken took it to a very close second. The Bombay Potato was good, but I found the Aloo Gobi to be a better choice. The dessert (Malai Kulfi) made it for a fitting finale!

We opted for the lunch deal which was excellent value for money. The food and presentation was great and not too heavy for a lunch, so we left feeling very satisfied.

Gorgeous food. Highly recommended. I find it hard to go to other Indian restaurants now, as I know Nirvana's food will always be high quality!

Presentation of meals is artistic, and the taste is delicious. We ordered lamb and vegetarian starters, followed by Karahi chicken and seafood curry. The nann garlic bread is light and the spinach and wild mushroom side dish is much more tastier than those served in other restaurants.

Interesting dishes included the Papri Chat (small Bombay Mix-like biscuits topped with chick peas, cubed potatoes served with a yoghurt and tamarind relish) and Stuffed Pepper (with mashed potato and nuts) – which provided a delicious alternative to the usual suspects of more typical Indian vegetarian menus. For the more health conscious, Nirvana also offered delicious Ayurvedic dishes. Worth visiting.

Nirvana Restaurant has a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The decor is new and modern, open yet intimate, the downstairs bar is a wonderful place to meet up after work for drinks, and the dinning area is good for special gatherings, or romantic dates. Very friendly staff, helpful and understanding, flawless service with a personal touch.

The ambience is classy, relaxed and friendly, the cooking is positively original such as the gorgeous roast cauliflower with cheese. Overall, the menu has a delicious mix of all things Indian and adventurous continental dishes. Lovely staff. Great value, a visit is a must!
