We ate here last night having eaten here before a few weeks back when we had a good meal but the restaurant was noisy and rather smoky.

Last night the was pretty empty at 8.45. The waitress who served us was friendly but not very knowledgeable about the menu. My carpaccio of warm sea bass was rather disgusting and certainly not warm and the deserts were very unispired. My husband and I had a stawberry cheesecake which although tasting pleasant was nothing more than a reasonable shop bought sponge cake. The scallops with artichoke puree was reasonably tasty but the cetre piece was a medium sized vol-au-vent with nothing in it! I don't think I've seen vol-au-vents in a London restaurant in years. The menu we had was not up to much and it seemed as if the chef had been changed from our last visit.

I don't think we'll be back for a little while.

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant only on Valentines Day 07. From the outside it is an attractive restaurant although quite small. I dined there with my partner and booked my table through this website and worked out very efficiently. I was greeted by a very friendly waiter who said we could choose any table we wanted- I couldn’t work out if that was a good thing or not, the decor was very homely and quite modern although the tables did seem to be a bit close to each other for my liking, the music was played at a suitable level and the service was efficient, staff were very friendly and quite smart if you took away there tattoos and beech jewellery accessories. I enjoyed a 5 course meal and loved every bit, each meal was of a sufficient size and the beef was probably the best beef I have ever tasted (no lie). The pricing of the food was good but was a set menu although if I went back there (which I am sure I will in the near future) I would happily pay that bit extra for the beef. At the back of the restaurant is a small bar and again, does feel quite homely, I was not too pleased at the restaurant serving breadsticks instead of bread and butter and the whole restaurant being non-smoking but im sure the whole world will be soon! I recommend the house white wine and the restaurant as a whole- It is no way average. GREAT!

An old fashioned Italian treat. The buzzy warm atmosphere, friendly staff and good traditional Italian cooking are all top notch and very resonable as well.

I live closeby and can confirm this restaurant's popularity. Food good and service, on the whole, also good. But on our last visit (after 9.30pm , mid-week) the restaurant was very crowded and our table was surrounded by smokers. Noise levels were almost unbearable - you had to shout to be heard across the table.

I went their for the first time for dinner with three girlfriends. I thought the atmosphere was very relaxing and the food was very good. Service was efficient too. The only down point in my view was that we were not given the choice of smoking or non-smoking and we had a table of smokers next to us.

I was in your Restaurant last night for the

first time with my wife and my son Andrew.

We were very pleased for the Food- Service -The dining room etc..of course we will come again.But one problem.. Smoking....
