Have been going to Kazans for about 3 years either for big family occasions or just a quick meze with friends. Always good.

I went to Kazans on Sunday evening with my mother after reading some excellent reviews. What a fantastic evening! They do a really reasonable earlybird £10 deal and the staff are all so friendly...

Would recommend to anyone and will be going there soon with a date (not my mum!)

I'd heard good reviews about Kazan's and so chose to go there for my 30th Birthday. The staff were brilliantly friendly, coped with the large table of us and made us totally welcome. The cocktails were tasty and fitted our party spirit and the food was really, really good. I'd no idea what to have from all the choices on the menu so went for a mixed iskender - a great choice! Everyone else at the table enjoyed their choices too and so I'd totally recommend this place to anyone.

Went to Kazan on Friday and had a really disappointing evening. The restaurant was freezing cold, service was very slow and the food was awful.

We had our starter and waited over an hour for the main course. Presentation was non existent - just a lot of food thrown on a plate; really not very appealing. Would definitely not return for any reason.

Went to Kazans for the second time a couple of nights ago and had a really disappointing time. It wasn't busy but service was slow and inattentive and there were no apologies for the long delay in either course arriving nor thanks for us pointing out they hadn't put our drinks on the bill. The food was pretty uninspiring which was all a bit of a shame as two of us are newly local and had read promising recommendations. Will be wandering further up the high street in future.

Kazan's is ok but saying that it's the "best restuarant in Earlsfield" is a joke. For anyone who does'nt know Earlsfield, it consists of one main street with a few bars and few chip/kebab places. From the outside, Kazans looks like a glorified fast food place, with a tacky green door frame and cheap wooden furniture inside. The staff were ok but the food took way too long and was adequate at best. You certainly wouldn't send it back to the kitchen but then you wouldn't exactly be running back to the restaurant either. The cosmopolitans "to die for" that one reviewer mentioned were overpiced (at over £6 a go) and was basically just a glass of cranberry juice (no flaming orange peel either!) and my partner who ordered a martini watched it being made at the bar -the waitress poured 50ml of dry martini into his glass and served it - for anyone who knows how a martini should be served this is an absolute outrage. The bill came and we were glad to go. Next time I'm in Earlsfiled, I'll settle for a bag of chips.

I loved this place, has a really personal feel with all the owners fabulous old family photographs around the restaurant. Everything we ate was delicious and reasonably priced. Good service, great atmosphere too!
