II Pagliaccio

....we were there last Sunday and after reading the reviews I went for the pizza. Big mistake, the pizza was burned and tasteless and we saw no show whatsoever. Wouldn't recomend this place not even to people I hate.

The most appalling service I have ever had in my life. Went there with my parents for lunch. The only thing in English you hear a lot there is "...guys!!!" no matter whether you're fifteen or fifty.

However, the food was not that bad but the service reminded me of McDonald's. In 15min we were rushed to finish three courses even though it was Sunday morning and the restaurant was half empty!!!!!!!!! Things were about to get worst though. We were made to wait 15 minutes for the bill and when it came, the girl in charge seemed to have just "landed" in England since her english was abysmal. It took her almost 5 min of gibberishing to "indicate" why the figure on our bill showed £18 more than expected!!!!!!!!! I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone expecting to diggest properly a decent meal.

I also had a night to remember at Pagliaccio's. I made my own pizza ...(surprisingly a really nice one), and the chef tought me the trick of tossing it. That guy is a living legend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I even got to throw the pizza on top of my friends head, which kept us laghing all way home. We had a fantastic time. Absolutely loved it!!!!!

Very kids friendly restaurant. My kids love all the staff, especially the pizza-chef. He always gives them pizza dough to play with and makes them pizza "baloons". Pizza tossing is becoming the main reason for the kids to go to this unique restaurant. Brilliant set up.

We went to Pagliaccio's last month for my brother's birthday party. I must admit that the service was not that great but the food was delicious.

The chef even invited us to make our own pizzas and when he started twirling two pizzas at the same time (...how could these Italians manage to do that!!!) the whole place went absolutely wild. What an electrifying atmosphere!!!!

We finished the dinner with a splendid home made lemon cake and an ice cold of georgeous Limoncello. What an evening to remember. We will definitely go back again.

I absolutely agree with the previous writer. The pizza chef of Pagliaccio is the best around. My Fiorentina is always delicious and nothing compares to Primavera. Come on Pagliaccio, rock on.......

In the past I regulary went to Pagliaccios and had a great time! I have'nt been back for a while, but when I did, I can say with all honesty I will never return again. THe food was terrible, the atmosphere terrible and the service was not grest! When the bill came I had to repeatedly ask for our bill and when it did arrive I had to wait a further 20 minutes for it to be collected. In all honesty it's a great shame, It was a lovely and fun place to go, but now the staff turnover really has changed the entire place. I would not reccomend this restaurant unless you don't mind eating chewy, oily pasta or being shoved into a corner with a load of noisy girls on their hen night!!! GOOD LUCK!!!
