I went here this evening with my wife and enjoyed a fine four course meal and had a great time. The service is attentive but not obstrusive and very friendly, the tempura prawns are very, very good.
The portions are small, but great for sharing and sampling which is the best way to eat so you have a little something from everywhere. All the food we ordered as good Malaysian cuisine and a few sprinklings of Chinese too. The overall quality of the food was very good.
The Sky Menu is priced at 16.95 pp (up £1 from last year) but includes unlimited food which is cooked fresh to order and arrives within 5-10 mins tops, you can also specifiy if you want the food a little on the spicy side too.

Having lived in Malaysia and been disappointed by many Malaysian restaurants in UK, Kampung was refreshingly authentic, with great food and exemplary service. The Sky menu is a wonderful way to try a variety a dishes and is fantastic value for money. My family and I were very impressed. We'll be going back very soon.

I've ordered a take away once, not bad. I decided to book it for my birthday. The food is ok, some dishes better than others. I was quite disappointed with the Malaysian dishes as they're not very authentic. However, their Char Mee was very good and the Sambal chicken and prawns were not bad either. However, the Char Kwai Teo was terrible, full of the taste of curry powder. I have mixed feelings about this place, the restaurant is pleasant but the lack of authenticity is very disappointing.

My daughter booked a table at Kampung for 5 of us for my birthday. We ordered many dishes from the Sky Menu and they were all excellent. We had quite a few starters and they were all fantastic followed by duck and then main course dishes. We couldn't fault any of the food we had.

I treated my wife to dinner and we chose food from The Sky Menu but unfortunately overall it was disappointing. Some of the food was OK (e.g. the prawns and the vegetables, especially the aubergine) but the rest including the chicken and egg-fried rice were a complete disappointment. We have not tried the main menu though and I do not know whether it is any better. I would not recommend the sky menu. We paid £40 though and I am not sure how much I would have paid for the main menu.
