I definitely recommend this place. When my boyfriend and I went there the first time we wee the only non Korean in the restaurant, which reassured us on the authenticity of the place. The food was nice and tasty, and the selection of dishes very big. The waiters may not be the friendliest, but this just adds a little edge to the whole experience. The value for money is extremely good. We went back other times and we were never disappointed.

Been twice recently at lunchtime. Excellent bulgogi and barbecued pork, good value too.
Decor could politely be described as tired but that wasn't why we went, the much maligned service was perfectly acceptable. They don't speak much English but then my Korean's nothing special and the restaurant is mainly for Koreans in London so to get an insight into their culture and eat interesting and well priced food worked for me.

I had a mixed experience at this restaurant.
The first time, we went there for lunch on a quiet day. We got adequate service, and I can't dispute the fact that they served good food at a good value for money. So later I took my best friend there for dinner.
We arrived there just before 6 pm. On the ground floor there were 3 free tables, but the waiters deny giving us any table because, he said, thoes tables were for 3-4 people only. We were told to go upstairs.
When we went upstairs, we got the same response. There were 3 free tables but we couldn't sit at any table because there were only two of us. They just kept us standing there, bewildered and slightly agitated. Eventually, a waiter told us that we had to wait for about 20 minutes, or until a two-person table is free. Then no one gave us any more attention.
We were annoyed and decided to leave. We went to a nearby Korean restaurant called Assa, which served nice food and was not too uptight to serve us!

I love this place. Sure, the restaurant's pretty run down, the toilets aren't the greatest, the seating is cramped and the place needs decent ventilation. The service isn't outstanding (the region really is not known for service) but the waiters are efficient. But if you want yummy Korean at decent prices - you want Woo Jung. Adore the bulgogi, the spicy salad that goes with your BBQ'd meats and the monkfish casserole. Not such a fan of the Korean pancake (have had better). Always finish contented for £15-20 a head.

I absolutely loved this restaurant!
The food was delicious and very affordable.
This is the first Korean restaurant that I have ever tried and was totally convinced to come back, which i have done many times.
I would recommend it to everyone happy to be in a lively environment surrounded by happy young Korean's and East Asians. You feel culturally taken away. Very refreshing. Very good if you want to try real Korean food. Stay away if your looking for an english adapted version. This restaurant stays real! In fact think that if you were to go to Korea you would have to adapt to them and not the other way arond
The waiters are busy but they serve quickly.

Please dont make the same mistake as us by going to this restaurant. The food was very fatty and very small portions and a 1 litre bottle of water cost £4.50. when i complained and wanted the most fatty dish taken off our bill as we couldnt even eat it i got laughed at and told they didnt understand me.
We absolutely wasted our money and felt really angered.
you have been warned....

My girlfriend and I went to this restaurant and came away pretty confused and disappointed with the complete lack of customer service that was shown. We were waiting to be seated but the waiter ignored us. People behind us in the queue were seated before us. In the 10 minutes that were there, another couple in the queue also walked out in disgust. I can't remember a business where they do not seem to care about potential business. They have lost ours and we will never go there again. I have scored the food 4/10, because it did smell nice, but the rotten smell of poor service infuses the place to leave a permanently bad taste in my mouth. Value for money 5/10. At least experiencing this uniquely bad experience didn't cost us a penny!

Went here with some friends last Tuesday and the food was mouth watering and really well priced, less than £10 each. The waiters seemed a little bemused but recommended some great dishes. Will be heading here again for sure.

This is my first experience of a Korean restaurant and i have to say i was enormously impressed and shall be returning.
The waiter's are slightly diffident but charming.Upon asking a recommendation (i'm vegeatarion but eat fish)i was delighted with the choices.Ultra fresh ingredients and generous helpings.May i recommend the vegetable Pancake and the raw fish with mixed vegetables?
The house white wine was an unexpected pleasure and a bargain at less than a tenner.
Drawabacks?....if pushed:the decor is lacking refinement.Smoking is permitted.
quite clearly,a popular place and readers can safely disregard the odd bad review on this site.
