I agree with the last comment about the service being awful however all the staff are korean and all the customers are Korean and the waiter we had spoke very little English which made it difficult for us to order however I prefer to be served like this by Korean waiters at a Korean restaurant full of Korean customers rather than an English version of a Korean restaurant. Also the food was delicous and extremely good value for money. Definatly going back soon.

While alone in London I had a craving for Korean food, which I learnt to love after several viisits to Korea. I have been to this restaurant with friends before and it was great then. Tonight, I was placed immediately, service was great and the food just right - the kimchis were good sized and the cabbage and radish ones especially authentic tasting. I had the traditional bulgogi which was delicious, the stir fried vegetables were also perfect and generous. Other customers mostly Asian (including Japanese) with an occasional Brit like me! I will definitely go back when in London.

I definitely recommend this place. When my boyfriend and I went there the first time we wee the only non Korean in the restaurant, which reassured us on the authenticity of the place. The food was nice and tasty, and the selection of dishes very big. The waiters may not be the friendliest, but this just adds a little edge to the whole experience. The value for money is extremely good. We went back other times and we were never disappointed.

Been twice recently at lunchtime. Excellent bulgogi and barbecued pork, good value too.
Decor could politely be described as tired but that wasn't why we went, the much maligned service was perfectly acceptable. They don't speak much English but then my Korean's nothing special and the restaurant is mainly for Koreans in London so to get an insight into their culture and eat interesting and well priced food worked for me.

I had a mixed experience at this restaurant.
The first time, we went there for lunch on a quiet day. We got adequate service, and I can't dispute the fact that they served good food at a good value for money. So later I took my best friend there for dinner.
We arrived there just before 6 pm. On the ground floor there were 3 free tables, but the waiters deny giving us any table because, he said, thoes tables were for 3-4 people only. We were told to go upstairs.
When we went upstairs, we got the same response. There were 3 free tables but we couldn't sit at any table because there were only two of us. They just kept us standing there, bewildered and slightly agitated. Eventually, a waiter told us that we had to wait for about 20 minutes, or until a two-person table is free. Then no one gave us any more attention.
We were annoyed and decided to leave. We went to a nearby Korean restaurant called Assa, which served nice food and was not too uptight to serve us!
