Have visited Nyborg's scores of times; great tasting coffee, excellent service and a chilled Scandinavian vibe.

After reading these reviews, I thought this place might be decent. How wrong.

2 flat white coffee's ordered. Both arrived tepid. Complained. Second round arrived equally luke warm.

So what if they serve Monmouth coffee. If you don't know how to prepare it, what is the point. The coffee itself was too watery, and the double shot in no way compensates. I don't understand how places who primarily serve coffee, can fail so badly at making an espresso.

We were going to cut our losses, but our rye bread arrived. £3 for two tiny slices 10cm x 6cm isn't exactly generous.

Avoid.

Happened upon this lovely cafe in Muswell Hill whilst out with a friend. It is small with room for no more than 25 people - and be warned you may have to wait on the pavement for a table! The food is good and reasonably priced, I had a prawn and egg open sandwich which was freshly made and delicious. Followed by a huge slice of gluten free carrot cake, yum! I recommend this place wholeheartedly for breakfast, lunch, brunch or just coffee and cake, an excellent venue.

Great weekend brunch cafe. Two visits in a two week period and excellent food on both occasions. Mackerel and potato salad with fried egg, lovely tart flavours. Monmouth coffee, but could take more care with preparation, although no worse than many others! Friendly staff.

Super coffee at last in North London, together with wonderful cakes and food served too.

Really good honest food, cooked on the premises by lovely staff.

Would definitely recommend it.

This lovely little cafe in Muswell Hill sells a delicous range of home made cakes and snacks and is a great place to take a break from shopping and relax with a pot of tea and a cake.

It is already proving really popular and when I visited it with busy and there were lots of people catching up with each other over coffee and cake. I managed to find a seat in the corner and where I enjoyed my pot pf Earl Grey tea and a large slice of carrot cake complete with a delcious cake. There are lots of places for coffee and cake in Muswell Hill but what I liked about this place was that it is small and cosy and they have magazines/paper/books you can read if you are by yourself.

I saw they had a valentines promotion and really hope they start to serve food in the evenings as Muswell Hill could do with something other than pizza/pasta restaurants.

This has become a bit of a regular weekend lunch and brunch stop after discovering it a few weeks ago when our usual place was full.

Fresh cakes on the counter as well as a decent cup of Monmouth coffee – but there are plenty of places that do this in Muswell Hill. It was the food that surprised us – really tasty freshly prepared meals. Their Danish meatballs with potato salad and homemade rye bread is particularly good.

The girls that run it are all Danish and the place certainly has a Scandinavian feel about it. They are going to regret the small site as word has already spread and it is increasingly difficult to get a table around lunchtime.

It looks like they are going to do evening food as well – a nice touch was giving you some fresh cinnamon rolls ‘for breakfast’ with the set menu that I saw on the wall. Muswell Hill is pretty devoid of decent places to eat outside of the usual chains so this is a welcome addition.
