Went for Sunday lunch on my birthday. We haven't planned anything for the special day and was looking for a nice Italian Restaurant to have a lunch in South West, I was very pleased to find Due Fratelli. Restaurant was decorated smart and not over powering so you feel you can go in with casual outfit. Table was set nicely with brilliant white linens. The gentleman who was very friendly and fantastic customer service has informed us the evening menu is more in variety, but we felt although there was few selection to choose from as a lunch menu (starter, 1st and secondi all approximately 4~5 dishes) the dishes we ordered was delicious, beautifully served and with perfect portion. My husband had glass of wine and having both of us had starter and main meal with coffee and dessert, the bill came to £46 in total which was definately worth a price. The restaurant has breakfast menu until 1.30pm, and they also have weekday special lunch set menu which is under £10 for 2 courses. If I may have a day off from work, I definately plan to indulge myself for the lunch there. 10/10 !

I think this restaurant is wonderful, I have often popped in for coffee and a light lunch but was lucky enough to have an evening meal on 8th April to celebrate my birthday. The service is always first class and the care taken over the food and cleanliness reflects a very high passion of the owners for their service. If you like good food well cooked and well served you must support this restaurant. The words that come to mind are charm, care, class, courtesy and excellent cuisine.

I have lived in Putney for many years and only stumbled upon this restaurant recently. I went in for a lunch and had a lasagne. The price was fantastic, the portion was very large and best of all it was probably the best lasagne I have ever eaten. I liked the food so much I ate there 3 days in a row. It is certainly one of my best restaurants and I have even had a birthday there with about 30 friends. The service was handled with the finesse of a factory line, however every dish was excellently and freshly prepared. I cannot recommend this gem highly enough. The staff are super friendly and will make you feel like family - even on your first visit.

Was interesting venue..Not super Italian, but they make an effort! Sadly empty when we went, as it probably deserves more punters. Food was good. Don't bother with the freebies (either serve nice olives or don't bother in my opinion - not Sacla!!), and wine list bit of a let down, but again, super friendly staff and food was not bad... Probably make a return appearance but not in a hurry...

This is simply the best restuarant in Putney and one of the best eating out experiences I have had in London. The food is simple but fresh and beautifully prepared, the value for money excellent and the service straightforward and friendly.

A report on two more wonderful visits to Due Fratelli

The lamb was cooked to perfection as was my husband's veal. I am upgrading my original food score to 10 from 9 since the cooking, recipes and presentation of the dishes is immaculate.

On another occasion, although not on the menu, duck was suggested as a 'special' A girlfriend and myself had it and it melted in the mouth - quite exceptional cooking. The risotto we had as a starter was 'the best ever' risotto that we have ever eaten!!!

Freshly prepared, cooked to perfection - an eating experience not to be missed!

Can thoroughly recommend our local top quality restaurant Due Fratelli. They use fresh quality produce which is cooked as required. It is a perfect venue for parties. We have had a few there and were in awe when 25 dishes were produced simultaneously! Goodness only knows how it is done since we didn't order in advance, but everyone was suitably impressed!

The service is very friendly but discreet . This is a wonderful backwater, just off the beaten track and ideal for business lunches and romantic dinners.

This restaurant is definitely worth a visit ( or 6 !)

We go here fairly regularly. Luckily the bad shopfront dissuades people, so it is easy to get a table. The food is excellent and the service pleasant and attentive without getting in the way.
