Went here for a catch up with some work colleagues, some of which had been previously and recommended it.

Food was absolutely gorgeous. Someone recommended the Fish Tandoori starter, which, to be honest, when it arrived I was a bit disappointed as it looked dry. But it was absolutely gorgeous - so tasty and tender. The lamb shank, whilst not traditionally found on Indian menu's was a winner too.

Had a brilliant evening - food is highly recomended and not too pricey.

The foods great with fresh ingredients, real paneer, delicious saffron rice - with visible saffron rather than food coloring. Great place if you appreciate good food.

I went to Mehek for dinner with my fiancé and one of his friends on a school night. When we got there the place was fairly quiet, but it picked up, and by the time we left it was quite busy. The service was

very attentive and I liked the fact that the tables were set quite apart. If anything, it was a bit cold, but that could well be me, as the boys seemed to be ok.

We had the best poppadoms I've ever tasted, wonderfully thin and with a great taste and texture. As for the food, it was ok, if not fantastic. My chicken korma was not the best ever, but it was ok. Maybe a bit bland and not as fragrant as others I've had. The portions were quite generous.

I would say it was a good place to go for curry in the city, if you don't fancy a treck to Brick Lane.

The decor and atmosphere is brilliant,however, the food is nothing special. Portions are small for the price. The service was good.

Ate there last night after reading good reviews, but the service was poor to the point of rudeness, and the food though ok was cold. Maybe we were unlucky, but I was not terribly impressed.

Mehek provided average food in very small portions, with average service in average surroundings at a very high price in comparison to other indian restaurants reasonably close to here.
