Wildwood (Cobham)

I have now lived in cobham for about a year,about the same time this place opend

I use it often lunch dinner about three times a week often with friends tables between 4`s and 6`s. Thought food was not fab but ok service could be better.

I have now told that a 2 for one voucher can be downloaded from the web site.THis means as I have paid say £150 and a tip for my meal, the table next to me,for the same thing, has paid £75. multiply this by my vists and I feel ripped off to the tune of £100`s. Lets hope the next landlords learn from this leason, it not just me it all my friends who have moved down to the plough down the road.

This was one of the best bars that opened in Cobham..Oh no sorry, its not a bar as far as the bar staff are concerned, its a restaurant.!! Forget the fact that in the front is a room full of sofas and chairs and a big bar!!!

Now its a empty shell of the place it used to be with managers who think that they have been given control of the universe instead of a lovely local pub/restaurant in Cobham High street..The fact that no one goes their anymore is a sad reflection of how run down the place has become with no idea as to whether it is a bar or restaurant ...

The owners of this place should take head and get management that can actually manage the place.....

I give it another 6 months......

And before you think that this is a set up mail by another pub is Cobham, actually sadly it is not but a true reflection of how a great bar restaurant goes from hero to Zero...The plough at the station is now my regular and too be honest its chalk and cheese to Wildwood. At least they know what they are and how to treat their customers.

I've been in here on several occasions. Friends and I go there most weeks but only for a drink, we have not sampled the food. It's one of those places that's a restaurant with a bar (unlike the Running Mare further down the road, which is a fine pub with a good restaurant). They are often under-staffed, frequently with only one person serving, and they only serve one beer, albeit the splendid Doom Bar. Also, they have a habit of serving short measures. I have had to ask for my glass to be topped up on a number of occasions. It happened once too often last Thursday, and I have now decided that I will take my business elsewhere.

Wildwood Cobham is a great place of take the family. They are family friendly and a great place to take the kids for a pizza and the parents can have a steak or fish. They have great Superfood Salads!!!

went to wildwood in cobham whilst on a weekend away with the family for my dads birthday, they were very nice and gave good service, also they were very generous and gave my dad an icecream on the house for his birthday, shame theres not one where i live in norwich i would defenatly go there again!

I went to wildwood with my husband on a friday night. the place was clearly under staff with only two young girls on the floor when the restaurant was packed and was clearly struggling. we waited 20 minutes for our drinks that our starter actually came out before our drinks. I ordered a steak and had to be sent back two time due to it being under cooked even though i asked for well done. The service was ok considering there was only two girls on the floor. The manager seemed to be slightly hard on one of the girls as she actually had her in tears which we could see from our table. However we did go back a week later during the day and the service was much better as less busier. overall ok experience but seem to be very very under staffed.

Went for lunch with my husband and two children aged 9 and 7, great menu for the kids and adults, great service and really lovely food! I will be trying this place again in the evening to see what the atmosphere is like at night but would recommend it to my friends.

absolutely fantastic place great atmosphere food amazing bar staff very friendly the manager lucy i think seems very happy and hard working and i must say i love the steaks on a friday night i come in with a groups of friends and we have a great time so all the best to the hard working team and keep it up
