some of the reviews here are ridiculous. giving like 0 ratings. its really unfair and mis-leading.
I've eaten here a few times. The view of canary wharf is spectacular. The food is good. It was very reasonably priced (4 of us ate for 118 pounds 3 courses and bottle of wine) In the bistro part of the restaurant. The service was really friendly. the only negative was it was really busy and loud. But the solution to that is to drink more and be loud as well :)
I dont have anything bad to say. It was a really pleasent evening.

Great view and design restaurant but the food doesn't quite live up and we wait for our main course and bill where price was wrong.

My husband and I went to the Bar & Grill at Plateau yesterday and we still cannot get over how bad the food was. Our meal came to almost £100 even though we just had 2 glasses of prosecco and we left feeling unsatisfied. I had the half lobster, which consisted of 3 tiny, chewy bits of lobster meat. At £20, this dish was revolting. I will never go there again

Worst meal I've ever had in years. The food was almost inedible. The service was terrible. The crab bisque was like barely flavored water. The burger was way overcooked and cold. The server had to be reminded about our entrees and they had obviously been sitting for quite a long time. Simply awful food and quite expensive for what you get.

Had dinner last night in the restaurant taking advantage of the 3 courses for £25.
very good value and fantastic food.
The new Head Chef Allan Picket is very talented and has a solid background from quality places so I am sure the 3rd AA Rosette will come soon.
Service was very good too.
Highly recommended!

I have dined here several times as I work locally and I have never been disappointed. The menu is appealing and varied, lots of British dishes but with a French accent. I love the light, airy dining room with its big windows, though it can get a little loud when busy at lunchtime. Service is not always perfect but nothing too awful. Sometimes dishes come out very soon after each other when one might prefer a little time to digest. Still, I return for the food and will continue to do so.

Very disappointed. Had read a few reviews and expected very good food. The goats cheese starters were nice but my risotto was very salty. My main course was again, over-seasoned and the taste of the jerusalem artichokes was frankly unpleasant. They tasted like old pickled artichokes from a tin and really ruined the whole dish - I couldn't understand how the flavours in this dish could have been put together. The monkfish was nicely cooked but over-salted. My husband ordered sea-bass which in itself was average but came in an oily, bland sauce which added nothing to the fish and again, made the whole dish unpleasant. I didn't bother with a dessert. This restaurant is not cheap, especially if you choose from the a la carte rather than the set menu (which I did) and for the price you would expect decent, even if not outstanding, food. This was a hugely disappointing experience from this group of restaurants. I have eaten at many of their restaurants and the food has always been of a very good standard. Whilst the service was OK (a bit slow) and the view striking, I would not recommend eating at this restaurant to anyone.

Visited for the fist time this week, when I took business acquaintance for lunch.
My first impressions were good, excellent space that is bright but welcoming, with good views over Canary Wharf. The seating is a bit weird and awkward, but not uncomfortable.
The food is overpriced but quality was excellent, my scallops were perfectly cooked and sweet. this was followed by a beautifully simple dover sole. I wouldn't pay for it myself, but well it was on the exs after all!!
It is very businessy at lunch and not somewhere I would take the missus for lunch!!
