The White Swan

The White Swan in Fetter Lane was ideal for the 10 of us, to celebrate a birthday and a graduation. The service was excellent and the meal was particularly good.

I had the pan fried rabbit leg followed by the partridge.They were both divine.

Jean Marc ordered the Galloway sirloin steak, he said it was just as good as he had anticipated and was delighted with his selection.

I know that two of the people at my end of the table had the sea trout tartare which they were raving about. So congratulations to the chefs.

Some of us had desserts which were also very good. All in all it was faultless and I would go again!

Booked the White Swan for a business dinner for 10 senior executives - all passed back positive feedback for all aspects of the meal.

SImple touches like the waiting staff remembering who ordered which dish - rather then just announcing the dish were much appreciated, and my request for a quieter area to enable discussion was no bother at all.

I would not hesitate to book again.

I booked the upstairs space at the White Swan for an engagement party last week, and was very impressed by all aspects of the venue. A perfect sized space, with friendly staff and great food and drinks.

We booked the upstairs room at the White Swan for a thank you drinks evening for our advisors, perfect venue, setting, room was ideal - just the type of atmosphere we had hoped to achieve. The staff, the food and the drinks were superb, so thank you very much.

I booked the White Swan for a party to celebrate my brother getting married and I cannot fault the evening in any way whatsoever.

The staff were charming and highly knowledgable when it came to beers, wines and spirits. The food I preordered was absolutely fantastic - arrived when I wanted it, piping hot and delicious. The bacon sandwiches late in the evening were a perfect touch. Excellent array of drinks and a superb wine and champagne list.

All in all, cannot fault a perfect evening and would heartily recommend the pub to anyone who wants to throw a party.

Bravo.

We hired the White Swan on Fetter Lane for our wedding reception on the 8th September 2012, and we were not let down by Nadia (events manager) and her team.

Every single person waxed lyrical about the food especially the beef wellington - which my friend Brendan (who had flew from Australia for the day) said was the best meal he had ever had! Everything was fresh, seasonal and local - the wine selection had some good english options highlighting how on trend the White Swan is.

Service was faultless, and the party rocked until 2am when the final stragglers were politely asked to leave!

The White Swan helped make our day the best day of our lives!

Just had lunch at the White Swan;

The Restaurant is well laid out and the staff were attentive, but not over-bearing. Food was delicious both on the palate and to the eye; The menu choices were both seasonal and original; much more interesting that the average fayre on offer at lunchtime.

I could have stayed all afternoon. Will definitely go back

The White Swan was one of five restaurants offered to our delegates and the one that had the most positive feedback concerning the venue, the atmosphere and the food.

We hired out the private dining restaurant which provided our guests with the exclusivity that they required. There was a great selection of food and wine to chose from and all other arrangements were made easy thanks to Nadia.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The White Swan to any future client.

We held our wedding reception at The White Swan on 30th June and every aspect of the experience was absolutely fantastic.

The events manager Nadia and her team were incredible and really looked after us and our 100 guests every step of the way. Nothing was too much trouble and the attention to detail was amazing.

We had canapes and bowl food and everyone commented on how fabulous it was. The chef did an amazing job getting everything out at the same time and the waiting staff couldn't have been more attentive.

The whole day was amazing and we are so delighted we chose The White Swan. I would wholeheartedly recommend it - brillant food, beautiful venue, amazing staff and perfect hassle-free organisation. A great experience!

We celebrated my parents' 50th wedding anniversary here on Sat 2 June - when we had a lunchtime event and took over the whole venue. We had a fabulous day - enjoyed by all 44 guests at a sit down dinner in the restaurant (and had drinks in the bar prior to that). The food was excellent both in presentation and taste. The service was impressive and the staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. Nadia - the events manager - assisted greatly in the co-ordination prior to the day which relieved much of the stress of the planning.

I would recommend the White Swan for a private party without hesitation and would definitely use them again.
