The White Swan

I organised a Christmas lunch for 48 people the week running up to Christmas. Nadia organised everything for us before the lunch. Everything went really smoothly on the day. The staff were friendly and very efficient. Food was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their day. We had to be off the table at 5pm but Nadia had arranged an area for us to have drinks so those who wanted to stay on did. Very impressed with the service and would be happy to recommend. Seats up to 52 people and is a really nice size room for lunch/dinner.

I booked the venue for a Xmas party dinner (31 people) and had drinks at the bar (area booked) on Monday 12th December. I went a week before to test the wine to choose for the dinner, and the staff was very helpful on that.The venue is great, the bar full of ambiance. We had almost the room for us for the dinner, the waiters and waitresses were very nice and welcoming, the service irreproachable (very good organization on the meal) , and the food fantastic, as the wine also. Really had a good time there, and definitely recommend the place.

We booked the White Swan for a Christmas lunch for 30 people. We increased our numbers right up until the day of the event, and the staff was very accommodating. We had the pub lunch menu which was great. Overall top reviews for the Swan if you have an event to host!

We had our department Christmas lunch here and it was really good.

Food was awesome, all came out at the same time. (22 people)

The staff was really helpful and friendly.

A fabulous place for a wedding reception; White Swan transformed into a winter fairyland for my son's wedding on Friday evening. Nadia, the events organiser, is flexible, efficient and friendly - nothing was too much trouble.

The food and service were excellent and the couple were able to have exactly what they wanted -including banoffee pie for dessert and cupcake flowers on the tables. The live music afterwards from their friends and indeed the bride and groom (both professional musicians) was lovely.

Hired the White Swan for my birthday party recently and it was great. Staff, food, beer and venue were all spot on and it went brilliantly. It was essentially two parties in one as parents and children attended in the afternoon with a big party in the evening and the whole day went incredibly smoothly. Everyone at the venue couldn't have been more helpful. I recommend this to anyone.

Excellent venue for our groups' annual dinner. Food was excellent and staff very attentive. Nothing too much trouble - even when 2 extra guests arrived who had forgottten to pre book their places!
