Being a local and a foodie, I was very excited when I found out a new Indian restaurant was opening nearby. I was even happier when I discovered the chef used to work in the famous Barbur in Forest Hill, which I used to visit regularly. When I first went to Cinnamon Culture, I wasn't disappointed in the least. Decor is lovely and the interior is very grand. You feel like you've entered a really swanky West End restaurant - it really feels like the kind of place that you'd find in a trendy part of London. This is great for Bromley, which needs more places like this. What can I say about the food? It is imaginative, delicious and not something you'd find in your average Indian restaurant. The quality of the food is top class - I loved the melt in the mouth lamb and the deserts are beautifully presented, like little pieces of fine art on a plate. The service is very friendly and attentive and there's a great selection of drinks. There's even a large garden where you can sit on a nice day. I really couldn't fault this place and the Sunday buffet at 12/13 quid is fantastic value. In case you might think I own the restaurant, you are wrong I'm afraid. I'm a private punter who is as fussy as the next person. I just thought this place deserved a good review because the owners have obviously worked hard to make it what it is and the restaurant does deserve to be successful. In summary, delicious food in a welcoming and stylish setting. Definitely worth a visit or two.
