This has got to be one of the most delightful lunchtime experiences I've had in a very long time. Staff were friendly and attentive as well as being unobtrusive. The ambience was relaxed, unhurried and charming. Expensive - perhaps but to find this level of quality and attention to detail is unusual in the West End. The food was beautifully presented and excellent. I will definetly be back!

I have been to this restaurant at least 4 times now and yes while its abit expensive it is 100% worth the price IMO.
I spend an average of 55 - 66 pounds for me and the misses on selectve
meals. The coconut rice is to die for as well as the marinated pork slices
and superb pancake ice cream desert.
The service is prompt and always polite. Not sure why some are moaning
about the prices. If you cant afford a decent meal out go to McDonlads.

Expensive and just not very good. Stay away from the Jungle Curry and the Duck. Service was poor - simple meal for 3 with water, three beers, two starters and 3 main , and two rice dishes was 88 pounds. We love Thai food and eat it weekly but never here again.

Visited recently for lunch. First impressions were positive, Looked clean and fresh. We were seated downstairs - which is actually okay, albeit low ceilings.
The menu was pretty standard and reasonably priced. the service was just about right. The staff were neither friendly or unfriendly - just a little dis-interested!!
Food was average to good - nothing outstanding. If your at a looking for a decent Thai restaurant for lunch or quick dinner then this would be good. If your wanting to impress someone then look elsewhere.

Visited this restaurant under recommendation and left feeling decidedly disappointed. The food was average and yet drastically overpriced. I chose a seafood satay from the experimental menu which was tasy, but barely warm - not sure if it was intened to be served at this temperature.
My main meal was a major let down. The staff brought out piping hot plates which sat there for 20mins and were cold by the time our meals arrived. A rather pointless act really. The beef in my dish was a poor cut, and was tough and riddled with grissle. I would choose your usual, high street thai resturant over this place any day, both in terms of value, service and quality of food.

Had lived in Bangkok for 9 years, as well as tried a range of Thai restaurants in London, from Addie's to Thai Square, thought nothing would come out as a surprise this time. However, a casual lunch in Eat-Thai Chaopaya from the starter, the Thai royal style rice craker in flower shape with fresh prawn, chicken self-serve fillings, to the main course Green Curry and Phad Thai, every dish was well presented, freshly cooked, just right seasoned. The plates are in coordinating color with dish's colour and feature, they made the food more interested and tempting. The service is quick and there are very pleasant staffs. I will definately go back for a formal dinner.
By the way, the downstaire is such grand but cosy place, it is best for a quiet or romantic meeting, although like the bright green theme at the entrance floor.

Having been to many trendy, or supremely expensive (Mango Tree) Thai restaurants, this is definitely one of the best. Am stunned by the bad reviews in here. The decor, service and most importantly the food is lovely. Being a phad thai regular I am shocked that this dish in particular has been panned ....
Ignore the bad reviews and go along yourself!!!

6 of us had dinner at this great place on Friday 13thand nothing bad happened!
It has great staff, professional and attentive, good communicators and not overpowering. The ambiance is relaxing and exotic and calm. The food was served with attention to detail and tasted great. It's a god dining experience, you pay a little more but here you definitely get what you pay for! Visit!

I liked this place, the service was courteous and subtle, menu an imaginative change from bog-standard pan asian offerings, and when dishes arrived they looked as good as they tasted; imaginative and fresh. Not mind blowing, but extremely pleasant.

After reading good reviews, we visited last week and suffered a terribly disappointing meal. Dreadful pad thai, everything seemed to be deep fried, luke warm and not at all fresh, with the exception of the salad dressing and the service, not worth a visit
