Zakudia

Absolutely Fab! My fiance and I celebrated our engagement party here on Saturday and it couldn't have been more perfect! Huge thanks to the guys - Frederico and Josef and can't remember the other names but they were brilliant! We wanted to keep the budget down so as to go mad for the wedding! ;) And most places have a minimum spend of £1,000 plus hire fees etc... None of this at Zakudia. We hired an area for 50 people (half of th bar) and actually had a turnout of nearly 80! Which was perfect as we had about 40-50 seats and lots of standing/dancing room! And we spent our budget on as much bubbly as we could - everyone had at least a glass or two (some more!) and it really did not blow the bank.. helped also by the half price cocktails until 8pm! The guys at Zakudia happily let us turn up an hour before open to decorate (We brought helium balloons and LOTS of table confetti, cakes and heart biscuits etc etc...) and also to get ourselves ready! (There was even a powerpoint for me to GHD my hair!) We had the area from 6pm till midnight, after which there was a large party arriving, but this fitted in fine, as it got the party going even more and we were dancing into the night! All this and a splendid view over the Thames and great location, 15 mins walk from London Bridge. Huge thanks to the guys, it was definitely a night to remember!
