I have never given anything 10/10 in my life. However, there is simply no other way to rate this place. Stunning location with superb atmosphere, brilliant service and the best food I've tasted to date, and I speak on behalf of my table of five.

An excellent feast of fine food, fine service and a splendid location. Perhaps some round tables would add to the experience and perhaps a deeper chocolate fondue??

The overall experience is excellent and the additional gallery spaces and roof top views make it more of an evening than just dinner.

Definite return and definite recommendation.

After reading some of the other reviews I was very reticent about telephoning for a reservation! However there was absolutely no problem about making a booking and the person the other end was quite charming.

Wow, the food was excellent. Very imaginative and interesting combinations of textures and flavours. I cannot remember when I had such an incredible meal.

The chocolate fondue was divine! All my guest loved the food and the atmosphere.

The service was good and the waiter always seemed to be there when we needed more drinks.

The Aussie-only (apart from champagne) wine list seems a bit eccentic but there is plenty of choice.

Returned for dinner with party of six last night to this Gem of a restaurant.

Location, Food , Service and wine were fantastic and do not understand other peoples problems with booking and staff etc as we could not have wished for more helpful service.

Lady manager even brought map of where all the various water pipes from the power station go to us whilst we were on the roof.

A great place, do not miss.

We had dinner there on a Tuesday evening and it was a wonderful experience all round. The food was excellent without exception, the location fascinating and the lady maitre'd put herself out to make our evening extra special. I went with two Australian wine experts and even they were impressed by the choices on the all-Australian wine list. I now want to go back and take all my friends.

This has got to be one of the best meals I have ever eaten in London and that includes eating at Gordon Ramsey, Tom Aitkens and The Fat Duck!! We were a little nervous about the American maitre'd after reading the comments on tis webs site from other diners but she could not have been more charming - gretting us warmly on arrival, chatting about the menu and stopping by our table occasionally to check that all was well. The atmoshpere - on a Saturday night - was busy and energetic without being too loud and the service throughout the whole evening was perfect. So, to the important bit, the food. My husband started with scollops on a bed of chickpea and aubergine. The scollops were cooked perfectly - creamy and light - and the accompaniments worked very well together. I chose the mushroom sformato - a cross between a souffle and a mousse - which tased superb - full of flavour yet light and creamy - possibly the best starter I've ever eaten . We both then chose the lamb shank pie, which had succuelnt pieces of fragrant lamb encased in a 'melt in the mouth' suet crust - truely inspirational. Not normally being dessert people we almost didn't bother with them but thank goodness we did! My blood orange tart was creamy and full of sweet orange flavour, my husband's rhubarb and passion fruit merangue was a triumph. My only slight complaint was the wine list - everything is Australian - and whilst that is not really a problem in itself I would have like a choice from other countries as well. Still, it didn' dampen our enthusiasm for this restaurant and we will most definitely be going back again soon.

the lady who answers the phone is one of the rudest and least helpful people i've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. And to think, i intended to give her my custom. Truly amazing.

Visited for the first time last week and what an amazing restaurant space. Not only fantastic food but they also hold some great exhibitions and events in around the building which you can visit before, during and after dining. I couldn't recommend it enough to anyone looking for somewhere really interesting to eat. They're hosting a series of concerts followed by a set menu each Tuesday in March at 7.30pm so I'll be trying to make it to one of those.

Surprised by the negative reviews - we have only ever had excellent service and excellent food and did again last night where staff could not have been more helpful. Go, and ignore the negative reports.

Have now been twice in a few months in the summer. Excellent food, friendly service from the waiting staff, a tremendous setting, ok but not inspring wine list, but....., yes I agree with other reviews -the lady manager is rude and also somewhat weird. I had booked a table on the plinth and we arrived for her to tell us that she had given the table to a person of the same name a few minutes ago. We would have to sit elsewhere - no apology. A few more exciting wines but especially a new manager are badly needed.
