Hi Everyone. Chiquito Leicester square is one of my favourite places in the whole world! I love the atmosphere, the people and the food is excellent! Have you ever tried Acapulco Chicken Fajita before? If not then you better try it in Chiquito's as this is gonna be the best you've ever had! By the way the managers are really charming and so as the waiters (apologies for a girly point of view :). I can highly recommend it to anyone who would like to have a fantastic night out with friends or without. You gonna have FUNNN!!! Cheers! Gillian

We went to Chiquitos in Leicester Square expecting the same quality as the Hull branch but we were in for a shock. I tried to book a table for four a few nights before we arrived but was told its not necessary as we would be booked on arrival quickly. Well our table was ready after 20 minutes and we ordered a few minutes later whilst sipping our drinks. When our drinks were finished it took ten minutes for them to clear them and they never came back for our new order as promised. We had been waiting 45 mins for our food when we asked for help. On doing so we were told, “I don’t speak English” about 10 mins later the manager turned up and we complained. We then got our food and the “bacon” was the most pathetic thing I have ever seen on a burger. The dessert was even worse; when they say doughnut they actually mean battered sour tasting dessert with minimal doughnut just the worst batter I have ever tasted. I warn anyone not to go there if you have other plans as the slow service cost us over 2 hours of our time. For couples its worse they only have about tables in the whole restaurant for couples and not mater how busy they get they do not open the whole seating area.

I was there on 24th of August with my girlfriend and a few friends celebrating a birthday party. We didn't think it would be necessary to book so we had to wait at the bar before we could seat at the restaurant. The atmosphere was good and the staff were helpfull.Once we got to our table we ordered the recomended sizzling fajitas. We wanted to change our table and asked to speak to a duty manager. We were approached by a very presentable manager that kindly accomodated us somewhere else. The food arrived very soon after and it was very good contrary to the reputation that the restaurant has.We were approached numerous times by the gentelman in charge who helped making our night a special one.We were invited back by Bledar and we intend to visit the restaurant again.

I went here 10 years ago and I really liked it. Went again recently and felt guilty as I had convinced my mum to come to this place. Talk about buyer's remorse. The service was friendly, but the portion were unnacceptable. I ordered a sizzling fajita. It says it comes with cheese. Yes, grated cheese served in a house-elf sized pot. There wasn't enough cheese to sprinkle on one fajita. I was gobsmacked. The fajitas by themselves were adequate , but not what I'd call tasty. The fried ice cream was swimming in oil, but to fair it's the only fried ice cream I've had so I don't know if its meant to be like that.

I'm a strict vegetetarian and have been all my life. The very first time I went to Chiquito was about 5 years ago with another vege friend. He had ordered a vegetable burrito and ended up with a chicken burrito. We were both quite appalled by it.

After so long, I dared to go back with some friends to celebrate a birthday. It all started well with some cocktails and delicious garlic bread, and then we moved on to our main meals. I had ordered a vegetable chilli enchillada and merrily tucked in to find they had served me a chicken enchillada. My first reaction was to be sick but managed to hold back. Not only had they managed once again to disgust me and make me feel violated, but they had ruined my friends birthday dinner too.

If you're a strict vegetarian, steer clear as you never know what you might be letting yourself in for! I gave Chiquito's a second chance, but I won't be making that mistake again!!!

the restaurant looks a bit childish with its outlandish colours on the fascia but inside its a bit more grown up. the place was very crowded however and my partner and i were placed at a table squashed between two other tables which made it difficult to have a private conversation. especially because the music was so loud that it was hard to hear anyway!

the food was tasty but the portion sizes were very dissapointing. i had the sante fe wrap which was delicious, but i felt ripped off as i paid about £10 for mostly a plate of chips as the wraps themselves were tiny.

service was ok, the manager shouted to everyone in the restaurant 'is everyone having a good time?' half way through my meal with i found uncomfortable and again a bit childish.

Went to this restaurant twice. First time me and my friend had fajitas, which were very nice! So I thought I would take another friend for a nice dinner, as mexican or tex-mex is our favourite food and was so dissapointed... As someone before me commented, the choice of guacomole OR salsa OR sour cream is rather strange... they shoulc come together, and the food also came almost cold.

I ordered burrito with spicy chicken. OK, it came filled with chicken but nothing spicy there...? And I do have quite sensitive taste cups must say. Overall the food was tasteless...

The service, however, was OK and the drinks too. But I am not coming back...

We were looking for a child-friendly restaurant near Leicester square and ended up in Chiquito. Never again! The food was overpriced and overcooked, arrived late and they brought in adults' food 10 min before the child's portion. And he was the one who was hungry. The waiter was the rudest I've encountered in London. Stay away is my advice.
