Chiquito (Leicester Square)

Chiquito is the WORST experience I've ever had in a restaurant in my entire life! Was there with a group of 6 today for lunch on a Thursday. It was not busy at all but we did not leave until 90 minutes later. I had to complain to the manager about the poor service, and then she let them deliver awful food that clearly had been sitting for a long time. This place really sucks. WORST ever - avoid!!

We went to the Chiquito in London and had the WORST Mexican food we've ever had in our whole lives!!! The tables are so crowded in that you can barely squeeze into your seat yet alone have any type of privacy while you're eating. The service is pretty much non-existent. The server comes by and then takes your order and the only other time you see them is when they want you to pay. The salsa isn't salsa at all; its stewed tomatoes with nothing more added and they serve it along side chips that taste like they are straight out of a Tostitos bag that has been left open for a week. The hot sauce they offer is Tobacco sauce. They have no other type of hot sauce in the whole restaurant. Mexican food is all about the spice and their food has none!!! The chicken chimichanga was pretty much chicken soaked in marinara sauce with minute rice, canned refried beans and un-melted cheese. Then they serve it with chunky sour cream...yummy I know right??!! We also ordered a pitcher of margaritas which tasted just like sugar water. There was very little booze in the drink and ALL SUGAR!!! The only reason I even gave this place one star is because that is the lowest I was able to. If you still decide to go here all I have to say is....GOOD LUCK!!! You're better off at Taco Bell.
