La Pasta

The food is mainly very good. Their ragu sauce which is the basis for most of their pasta dishes is really very tasty. It is nice to be able to go to a restaurant that serves homecooked food. I was a little let down by their veal escalope which was bland and didn't live up to my expectations but their lasagne is among the best I have ever tasted due to that gorgeous homemade ragu sauce.

One BIG letdown is the service. The service is almost always totally shocking. We have had a waitress who had argued with us (we had a table full of garlic bread, she brought more which was destined for another table and refused to believe that we had not ordered it. Three times she tried to put it on our table and we ended up actually having to raise our voices to make her listen) and we have had a waiter who was more interested in looking flash and making silly comments ("Can we order?" "NO, ha ha ha") than he was in taking our orders. In fact that same waiter totally forgot to write down my husband's order and he ended up without any main course.

PLEASE SORT OUT YOUR WAITING STAFF!!! Because we love the food.
