Beer selection very dull, chips actually very nice. Staff can sometimes have quite a bad attitude but the one barman with long hair is quite sweet. Outside bit is ok... Would rather go to the George and Vulture round the corner for a pizza to go with my pint. Had a sandwich from here once and it sucked. Seems to attract stag dos etc at weekends which isn't fun for smaller, female dominated groups.

Despite the fact the dismal building they have has been refurbed to the max, it was now about 8 years ago and this place does not impress, and has a tired feeling. Rude up their own backside staff, think they have better things to do than serve you with a smile despite being unskilled and not particularly aesthetically pleasing student girls. Chips ok. Lame menu containing sandwiches etc.. Beer selection dire and no rhyme or reason to the generic selection given the American theme to the place. Table outside so wonky and pouring with the previous customers spillage, to be added to every time we moved. Had to get masses of serviettes from the gormless bar girl to clean this ourselves. Fellow customers seemed a mixed bunch, though 2 extremely inebriated guys at 6pm annoyed me and my girls a bit, though we played along and to be honest, our daft conversation with them was the highlight of our visit.

Paul Daly has lost it in my view. Saw his new place in angel and looks ok but it's apparent these outfits are a very limited sprinkling of half baked style versus zero substance.
