Locale (Fulham)

Sadly disappointed. Went with a small group of friends and ordered the Italian meats starter. This was ok, although the bread seemed hard and stale and chose only to eat the meats. Main course was the 12oz rib-eye, and at £18 I thought this was a safe bet. I asked for medium-rare, what I got was terrible. It was burnt/chargrilled on the outside (that was pretty much all I could taste) and inside was touch, chewy and severely over done - even with steak knives we battled to saw through this. I'm not a chef but I think anyone could have cooked a better steak at home! No sauces, marinade, only some potatoes. I left half of the steak as I was like chewing on flavourless burnt rubber. I ordered an Italian Liquor Coffee for desert, strangely this was very good! Based on other reviews, was the chef ill?!

It was a lovely sunny day and customers were sitting at tables outside at lunchtime. The food that was being cooked gave the interior an inviting aroma for hungry would-be lunchers. The service by two waitresses was attentive, our drinks arrived quickly. Full stop. The focaccia we ordered to accompany our drinks took a very long time to arrive, by which time we had finished our glasses of wine, and our main course having been ordered just after 1pm arrived at 1.45pm, which was unacceptable. Clearly the management are trying to save costs in the kitchen, judging by the length of time customers had to wait, and it is up to them to sort it out if they wish to maintain any kind of reputation. We popped in for what we thought would be a delicious but snappy trattoria type Italian lunch, but it all took far too long.

i took my girlfield for a meal her birthday at locale fulham. I found the service to be great everyone was nice and helpful because my girlriend is very fussing when is come to eating. I had the rib eye steak with was cook beautiful and she had a great pizza. After our meal we had super cocktail on the terrace outside.
