My ex partner and I went there today for lunch. She had the steak frites which (she is French and knows her good steak) she descibed as very good, and was a well flavoured Onglet which was cooked medium rare as requested. Good french fries and well proportioned.

I had roast belly pork with stuffing which was sublime, it came with roast potatoes, cauliflower, broccolli, and mashed swede. The pork was perfect, real gravy on the side and a yorkshire pudding. Along with a pint of wandle Bitter I could not have asked for more. Service was very good indeed, very quick and attentive.

I would have scored the food 10 if the Yorkie had not been slightly over cooked

Comfortable surroundings, albeit a little noisy due to a large party who came in just before we finsihed eating.

Overall, really good portions of excellent food and reasonably priced, good service and comfortable surroundings.
