We ate here very late one Friday evening when nowhere else was open.

The service and the food was fabulous and we will definitely come back

We tried this Thai place on a Saturday night and although I can't find any specific fault with the food, I have eaten far better Thai in other local London neighborhoods.

I was not impressed with the quality of the service though. We were shown to our table by a rather sullen young girl, who took an age to take our drinks order. Our waiter was friendlier, but I was not impressed to be served soup out of chipped bowls, with chipped spoons, and the cutlery was tarnished too.

Lastly, it took us ages to get our bill and for it to be settled. I also think it is outrageous to charge £6 for a 660ml bottle of Singa Beer. Even in expensive bars do you seldom fork out more than £3.50 for a pint of beer! I also generally get cheesed off with the so-called discretionery service charge of 12.5% that restaurants charge, especially when the service is not up to scratch, although I know everyone has a differing view on this.

All in all, not bad, not great, but I don't think I'll be rushing back to try it again.

We normally eat at Thai Corner Cafe but thought we'd try something new for a change. The food was pretty poor. Tempura batter was burnt and not light as it should be. Soup not great, main courses ok but small. Maybe it's better to stick with what you know. Next time we'll be heading back to Thai Corner Cafe.

I went to this restaurant with a couple of friends and we were all very impressed with the food. The service was friendly and prompt and the surroundings very pleasant. The food was nicely presented and very tasty. Two of us are veggies but we found that there was plenty of choice for us. We asked for our food to be nice and spicy and we weren't disappointed. I would recommend this restaurant and would certainly go again.
