Charuwan Thai Restaurant

We live around the corner from the Charuwan and we absolutely love the food. The service is excellent, the staff very friendly and the restaurant itself really cosy. Their take away menu is just as good as their in-house food. Cannot recommend it enough.

We've lived in the area for two years and visit Charuwan almost every month - even taking foreign friends here who want something different. We have never ever been disappointed by the friendly staff and fantastically fresh and authentic food.

At the end of every meal we agree that we must give this place a great review - somthing I have never felt inclined to do before. But this place really deserves it. Now we are leaving the area, and one of our reasons for coming back to the not-beautiful Junction Road will be to eat at Charuwan.

The specials - Butterfly prawns, beef in lime basil - are the best.

And we've dined next to local Bill Nighy twice. Which is nice,
