Booth's Cafe Bar & Pizzeria

Booth's has an extensive menu, filled with the expected pizzeria fare. The pizzas eaten by our group were reasonable, although nothing exceptional. Starters were mediocre at best - both the antipasto and the tricolore salad were accompanied by some pretty uninspiring lettuce.
Booth's is a cheap local option, although not the destination for a special evening. Service is slow and informal to the point of sloppiness. I was disappointed that, although Booth's participates in a card discount scheme, they won't honour the agreement on Sundays, despite the scheme's website and literature stating otherwise. However, the low prices stopped me being too annoyed by this factor!
On balance, Booth's is a reasonable choice for those seeking an inexpensive, casual meal, but there are too many other good places in the area for me to bother returning.

Booth's used to do amazingly nice pizzas, but the last couple of times I've ordered from there, they've been undercooked, late and/or cold. It's really disappointing considering they used to be one of the best in an area. The bar below is occasionally good, depending on what kind of crowd you get there. Other pubs in Stokie are much better choices for a beer. Keeping my fingers crossed that this one comes back to its former glory.

I had pizza delivered to and was rpobably the worsts ervice i have received. THe pizza took 1hr15 to arrive a very short distance, and when it did it was the wrond pizza.
I then re-ordered and another 45 mins later it turned up and was pretty bad. The pizza was really salty and almost unedible. I almost wished I had stuck to the original delivery.
Shame as the deal is really good, but will not order again

Not sure about 'one of the worst pints in London' - you must have caught it on a rare off day. I've always thoroughly enjoyed the ice-cold pints of draught Peroni! Otherwise, everything else said on this page is spot on, the pizzas are excellent, great value, the staff are the friendliest in Stokey and the downstairs bar is 'where it's at' - although I'm told that I'm too old for it now.

Nice family run Italian restaurant. Good size portions very reasonably priced. They do nice fish and eat dishes as well as great pizzas and pasta dishes. The Calzone Pizza is huge and highly recommended.
They do pour one of the worst pints in London though so stick to bottled beer. Good value tasty food in a relaxed setting.
