Tried Whits one evening before going on to a Prom concert. We were greeted by a charming lady. Beautifully cooked food and lovely atmosphere. I only wish we had more time , so we could have had a pudding! Will definitely return.

I visited Whits for lunch today (15 April) the third time this year. The lunch time special menu is fantastic. Lovely food lots of flavour with lovely touches. Service impeccable and house wine good. Definitely going back again. A great find for Kensington.

We visited Whits on Saturday 22nd August and can honestly say it is one of the best restaurants we have ever frequented in London. Ava welcomed us on arrival and was a wonderful and attentive hostess. I understand she is also quite a connoiseur on wine and recommended a fabulous bottle of red called Tin Roof which I have been unable to find since. The atmosphere was really relaxing. The food was superb and cooked to absolute perfection by Steve. The standard of service was impeccable. Faultless - This restaurant is truly a jewel in the crown.

Some old friends took me here for a lunch last week (August '09) and I was thoroughly impressed. Food was excellent - the lobster ravioli especially - and the chips really crispy. The £15.50 for two courses very good value. I have already recommended it to some friends who live locally.

We held our Civil Parnership reception at Whits last April 2008, I can't believe I did not write a review at the time. We met with Eva a month or so before the event, she helped us select the menu and wines she also suggested a small drinks and canape reception before dinner, this turned out to be an excellent idea, our gursts loved having the opportunity to mingle before dinner. The food, service and atmosphere made the whole event special for us, our friends still talk about it. We could not have choosen better.
