Royal Inn on the Park

Went for a Birthday Sunday lunch with my partner and 17 month old daughter. We were pleased to see they had prepared our table and provided the high chair we had requested. Also pleased to see they offered child portions upon request. All good so far.

Unfortunately the chef then failed to follow our instruction not to put gravy all over the child's portion and also the vegetables were almost raw and inedible for a small child with hardly any teeth! Needless to say we had a rather fractious lunch and left sooner than we intended.

A shame the polite and proactive waiting staff were let down by the inconsiderate and ambivalent kitchen staff.

Ecxellent food, Great atmosphere, Cool staff. Chefs very amenable. Function Room spacious. Location Ideal on the edge of the wonderful Victoria Park.

Well recommended.
