Busaba Eathai (Westfield Stratford)

The eating experience in this restaurant is horrible, I know it has become fashionable to herd customers on tables close together but this was unbearable.

Unless you are looking to make friends with people you have never met then I would suggest you avoid this restaurant.

The food was acceptable but nothing more and grossly overpriced.

I have eaten in several busaba restaurants in the past and had excellent food so felt I was on safe ground visiting this one for lunch (may 2012). I was very sadly disappointed.

The quality of the red curry was awful. It was essentially a thin tasteless soup with some rather sad pieces of extremely dubious meat looking suspiciously like a mass processed bulk purchase from a chinese restaurant supplier.

This was entirely the fault of the chef. There is simply no excuse for serving such poorly prepared food. The restaurant staff were excellent and were very attentive and understandably disappointed by my complaint, however they could not make badly prepared food better. It was not their fault.

Sadly it means I shall think twice before using another busaba restaurant and as I say this is the first time they have let me down.
