What e delight! I love this restaurant, the polite and friendly staff, the warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the wonderful food. But the best thing about the whole package is that it comes at a very reasonable price. Being in Central London I expected the restaurant to be fairly expensive, but they were quite the opposite.

I had a lovely time here and it will definately becoming a regular dining experience for me!

I went there for dinner last night (Thursday 8 Feb 2007) and was seriously impressed with the food. Thai food has been my favourite food for many years, and I've eaten it all over the world (including Thailand), but it would not be an exaggeration to say that Mangosteen has the best chicken satay skewers that I've ever had. It was seriously delicious! And the green chicken curry was also fantastic. I love this place - and it's so reasonably priced! Will definitely be going back again.

Went here before going to the theatre. Very small restuarant, a little cramped and service not always attentive, but the food was superb. Will definitle be going back when in the area, I only wish it was closer to my house!

This is one of my favourite restaurants! Discovered it totally by mistake and have been going ever since and introducing everyone I know to it. The restaurant is beatifully and simply decorated. It is divided in upstairs and downstairs seating, but still it is a bit small (the only negative comment I have for it). The service has always been amazing and fast and there are no words to describe the food. It is simply exceptional!!! Last time I went I had a meat dish (don't remember the name of it) that was cooked on our table and that extremely good and although it said for two people, it could have easily have feeded all 5 of us. Prices are way too cheap for Carnaby street. Go, you won't regret it!

Best thai restaurant in london in my opinion is Tong ka nom thai on harrow road and that's high praise indeed from a thai snob such as myself, but i have to say mangosteen does the best red duck curry i have ever had (time spent in thailand included). Not the cheapest or dearest either. Friendly staff and i've been there literally dozens of times. Good central location but not too obvious.

Pla rad prik (whole fish topped with sweet chili sauce) and Gang Som (whole fish in the hot tamarind soup) are great. I was surprised I could find these two dish in London. All food i ordered (Pad pak boong, etc.) present the real Thai taste, except jungle curry. The resturant is a bit too crowded and there should be spearate section for smokers. But staffs are very friendly. It's worth going.

Went back there on Friday night with my boyfriend. They’ve updated their ‘specials’ menu again, and WOW!!!!, the dishes that we had were simply divine.

Great atmosphere there when the weather is great and they have their front doors fully open - you really feel the vibe of the Carnaby Street scene.

Great food, good service, and definitely NOT expensive. Well done Mangosteen!
