Iskele Ocakbasi Restaurant

We ordered take away from ISKELE on Church Road and it took two attempts, as the first person did not speak very well in English and could not understand the order.

Food arrived well in time if not early, which was great.

Unfortunately, the LARGE Shish Kebab consisted of 8 small cubes of meat and LARGE Lamb Beyti was just 2 shortish and thin skewers. Rest of the order made up a HUGE salad and MASSIVE portion of chips... SAD, really, because we paid £19 for a take away for two, with sides and what it was consisted mainly of chips, not-the-best flat breads and lettuce... WILL NOT USE AGAIN AND WOULD DEFINITELY NOT recommend.

Tasty excellent food, good value for money, lovely fresh chilie sauce. i often eat in or have take away. Staff are friendly. Surroundings are simple but very clean.
