The Vine

The Vine has gone downhill completely. Its drab, unwelcoming, boring, and has its own take on closing times! It shuts when it wants to. The new management are bizarre, and seem to not be able to take any criticism or opinions from the customer, we dont hold out much hope for this vast pub. A few years back this place was buzzing, lively, friendly, I cant believe the change in it now. Dont bother going there.

What a shame, used to be a really nice place with excellent food and very friendly staff. Today we went with a party of seven and it was a real disappointment. Unfortunately it appears something changed, the food was at best mediocre at worst really not up to standard. The staff was uninterested and when both me and a friend said the wine was corked the manager said that that it was not true, I then told him to try it himself but he replied that he didn't drink. Arrogant???? At best. Unprofessional??? Certainly!!! He then reluctantly changed the wine. We are shall not go back!
