We have been to this restaurant and the food was fantastic. We would love to go back there only if they improve their service. It serves great food and I recommend you to go if you are patient with rude waiters. Just check your bills carefully and try your best to avoid arguments with waiters.

Having walked past this place a lot, we finally decided to try it and was happy I did. It's like a fusion of thai and indian and the variety on offer was great. The food tasted really fresh and I was surprised how good the service was. Even better was the price - 2 courses with extras and a bottle of wine for £60.

It's not fine dining but does what it does really well.

The reviewer who said that this restaurant is the best in Balham should get out more !

There's nothing wrong with it per se, it's just that I visited after reading all the great reviews and it was a let down. I guess there is a reason why you don't see many Nepalese restaurants, Nepal is not that famous for it's cuisine ! The staff were really nice and friendly, but the food is just average, average, average.

The prices are very reasonable though, so I'd suggest that it's a good place to go if you don't feel like cooking one night for some satisfactory food that won't break the bank. I wouldn't go for a special occasion though.

This is a friendly little restaurant. The food is quite different from the standard Indian fare but still good and is not too pricey.

By far and away the best place to eat in Balham. Friendly staff, great food, reasonable prices. Will be even better when the smoking ban comes into force!

We went to this restaurant last night on the recommendation of this website. The food was amazing - I've never had Nepalese before but will definately be going back. We could not fault the service and the staff were friendly and welcoming. They even laughed at our bad jokes. Could easily become on of my favourite local restaurants.

A group of us went for New Year's Eve 2006 and all really enjoyed it. The food was excellent, all the taste and flavour of Indian food but none of the fat and oil that it is usually swimming in. Really reasonably priced (especially as normally on New Years Eve prices seem to triple, not so here) and the staff were all very attentive. Highly recommended and will definitely be going back.

This restaurant is a gem - great, friendly service and tasty food at a good price. I was expecting the food to be very similar to Indian, and was pleased to find it very very different.

Will definately be visiting again.

What a fantastic restaurant. My husband and I have been numerous times and the service and food is always fantastic - in fact it's become our safe bet if we need a bite to eat. Staff are very welcoming and food never fails to be a delight. Highly recommended if you want something a little different than a normal curry.
