I totally agree, this restaurant is badly run, the food poor and the service very lucklustre. My husband and I ordered a bottle and wine and drinks for our children. We also asked for a jug of tap water and received a curt response. We asked two waiters a further 5 times for tap water but were met with a surly look or totally ignored. We even sent our 7 year old to the kitchen to ask the kitchen staff but he was also ignored. Our meal was overpriced, overcooked and unenjoyable. Never going back!

Why does everyone slate this place? I have never had a bad meal there. Went there last night, service was very friendly, and there was no obligatory service charge. You simply pay if you feel a tip is justified, and whatever you give, is then given to the waiter/waitress. That's the way it should be.
The food is tasty, the service is fine, and the variety of food is good. Go there with a 50% off voucher and it's even better. My only criticism is the wine list. The £13 bottle of red which "doesn't take itself too seriously" and is a "good-time wine" is undrinkable. The next price up is a £16 bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon - very good, but overpriced. Wines after that reach up to in excess of £20, which is ludicrous for this sort of place.
Other than that, though, no complaints.
