Sale e Pepe

I Went out for dinner at this restaurant. its the best outing i have ever had. the service is brilliant, food is out of this world and to top it up the staff are bunch of a great kind...very humorous but not in your face. Lovely and hidden away place. Would recommend to anyone wanting a great dinner without all jack and jill crowd!!!!

What a fantastic restaurant. A true gem hidden away. I would recommend to anyone. With it's excellent service and humerous staff, this restaurant was by far one of our most enjoyable dinners in London!

I had not been to Sale e Pepe for quite a few years as I was not very keen on the decor and ambience: it was quite old fashioned and dark, but the food was really good though.

I went back on Saturday as a friend told me that they refurbished the restaurant, and now it looks great! It feels nice and fresh, like the food, which hasn't changed and is still authentic Italian cuisine. I recognised most of the staff, apparently they have all been here for years, and they are great fun, really entertaining!!

I am really glad I went back to Sale e Pepe, as it is a genuine Italian place with great food, fun staff and lovely decor, and really good value too for the heart of Knightsbridge.

We had a great time at Sale e Pepe last night. It is a genuine Italian restaurant with real Italian food and amazing staff! They are all Italian and great fun. The food was really good and amazing value for the location. I had the most delicious veal kidneys (hard to find in London!) and my boyfriend enjoyed his veal so much that I did not even get a chance to taste it! They have an extensive wine list too.

I will definitely go back and would recommend it to anyone who wants great Italian food.

I normally dine at Sale e Pepe on special occasions and it never fails to perform. For an Italian restaurant, atmosphere is key and sale e pepe excels here with it's gorgeously funny waiters and rather raucous maitre d'. Food, of course, is simply fantastic. However, like any other restaurant, it does have some flaws, but only minor. It's too dark, personally anwyay and can be too loud at times. But, this is all part of the experience and is definitely worth the money.

I had never been to London before and was reccomended this restaurant by a friend of mine who spends most of his week in the capital. I have t say I was very impressed by the whole experience, and thats what it was an experience. The wwaiters where a lot of fun and extremely proffessional while at the same time being very down to earth. The food was superb and very filling. All in all a great night and how Italian food should be. I loved my weekend in London as did mygirlfriend and were planning another trip down in the spring. We certainly be returning. Thanks to all!

There are no word to do justice to the fantastic time I had at this restaurant. Not only the dining but the wonderful people I met there. I have dined in many places but Sale E Pepe is by far my favorite place in the WORLD to dine. The food, the friends, the ambiance. You can not go wrong. Salute!

Like many others, we have been going to Sale e Pepe for years - and it feels like home. But don't let that distract you. Fodd is authentic and all round excellent - and the wine list is a joy.

Yes, it is a bit noisy, but if you want a fun evening with excellent food and a cosy ambiance, try this.
