Sale e Pepe

haven't been for years - the best place to eat in London - we had many wonderful meals there our kids grew up with Sale e Pepe - we went to London a few years ago and couldn't find the restaurant - it looked like a block of flats - we thought you had disappeared forever - thank heavens I have found you - made my year - this is the worst year of my life ever until today, Will be with you next time I am in the UK.

Excellent restaurant tucked away off Sloane St. Friendly staff, great food, good/ affordable wine list and super ambience. It's very Italian and the staff are all charismatic. Recommended!

This is one of the best restaurant's in London in my opinion!

I have been there 4 times in total now. It was my dad that originally recommended I try it and I can't keep away now. It is not particularly local to me either as I live in North West London but it really is worth the journey.

1) The Staff are wonderful. From the point of phoning up to make a resevation to leaving the restaurant. They are charming, friendly and go that extra mile to make sure your evening is fantastic. They give it a real italian feel as well!! For my mums birthday they stood around the table and sang happy birthday and took photos for us (even though they were rushed off there feet and the restaurant was full!). The atmosphere is superb, it is quite noisy but I like that as it works well with the entertainment by the waiters and the decor is absolutely beautiful which again gives it a lovely traditional italian touch!

2) The food is superb. I am guilty of ordering the same over and over again but I just can't help it! And as for the prices, 100% for value for money. Portion sizes are excellent and the quality of the food is very fresh and tastes very homemade!

This restaurant certainly is a winner in my opinion! If i had to find a fault the only thing I could probably say is that the tables for 2 are a little too close together but then again it is a very small restaurant.

I have been going to this restaurant for almost 16 years now and find myself leaving very contented and pleasantly full everytime.

There is always a friendly welcome and the recent refurbishment is super. The food never fails to please and for what you're getting I would say it's underpriced!

Much better than other local competitiors such as Zafferano, Sale e Pepe is definitely one of London's top Italians.

Went to Sale E Pepe, for our 10 year anniversary.

The restaurant looks fantastic from outside, and as soon as we walked in, it was like walking back into Italy. The waitress spoke to us in Italian, and we then directed by the joyous head waiter who spoke and sung in Italian with gusto. Besides the beautiful ambience of the restaurant, the food was delicious.

I Went out for dinner at this restaurant. its the best outing i have ever had. the service is brilliant, food is out of this world and to top it up the staff are bunch of a great kind...very humorous but not in your face. Lovely and hidden away place. Would recommend to anyone wanting a great dinner without all jack and jill crowd!!!!

What a fantastic restaurant. A true gem hidden away. I would recommend to anyone. With it's excellent service and humerous staff, this restaurant was by far one of our most enjoyable dinners in London!
