TimeOut - 3/5

Tuesday, January 31, 2012 - Vietnamese-style crisp battered squid with chilli, spring onion and lime was bright, light and satisfyingly spiky. Malaysian daging rendang (beef curry) featured tender meat in a delicious cardamom and star anise-dominated sauce with the texture wonderfully broken up by pieces of toasted coconut...The slick design, speedy service and please-all menu seem to indicate a chain in the offing. Pub operator Mitchells & Butlers is backing Tuk Cho, and there's a second branch due to open in Chiswick. But with fresh food for reasonable prices, this beats most of the other Asian chains.

Loved the style and atmosphere, great menu. Still feels a little as if they are finding their feet (dumplings and edamame not up to wagamama standard) but our main courses were delicious. We will definitely go back.

Went there for lunch with my husband. The food was fantastic, very fresh and well seasoned, not as sweet as some Asian food in other restaurants can be. The staff was very well informed about the food and the way it is cooked and clearly a passionate about what they serve. All in all very good place and would hihgly recommend it.

Went with my children last weekend. What a great restaurant! Really warm atmosphere and loved sitting at the round table in front of the kitchen. Great atmosphere! Having spent lots of time travelling in Asia, thought that the food was fantastic. Loved the muc chien, and the laksa lamak was delicious - coconutty and just the right amount of chilli. Our waitress was really friendly and efficient although was not as well-versed in the menu as I would have expected. Bill came to about £50 for 4 of us, so great value. We will be going back!

Went there yesterday after work. We ordered a variety of dishes to share. The waitress was welcoming and friendly and helped us to choose dishes we'd not tried before. Its often hard to find food from Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand on one menu! Really enjoyed the meal, most main dishes seemed to be around £7-10 with street snacks around £4-5 which we thought was reasonable. Portions were decent. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Very similar to Wagamama apart from the seating style benches.

Food is quick and decent portion in the mains. The staff are polite yet new so can be a little slow. The food is not authentically

Flavoursome but a good try never the less. Myself, my wife and two children dined here and it came to £47.80, no alcohol and desserts and they enjoyed it so we will be going back.

Went here for the opening 50% off deal, and will definitely not be going back. Poor quality, overpriced and underflavoured.

Veggie Goi Cuon - rubbery and what taste they did have was bitter.

Veggie Gyoza - pretty good

Sweet Chilli Sauce Edamame Beans - tough and stringy

Veggie Kaeng Khiaw - even at half the usual price of £8 this portion was woefully small, although the taste was okay.

Lemongrass Panacotta - bland and sickly

Definitely the most revolting Asian food I have tasted

Tofu fried in rancid oil. Dumplings pork paste greasy. food half cooked & half burnt

True Asian street food is 100 times better than the food they produce

Nice food but very little of it. Starter consisted of 10 small prawns. We both left hungry after our meal.

Don't bother, this place is rubbish. Cheap average food, expensive and hopeless.

Won't last long.
