I and My friend went to rosmarino Wed evening in Sep. Despite the bad comments below, having heard the chef has been changed we gave a try. We sat in the conservatory which was very nice ambience. We chose fish carpaccio for our starters as it was recommended by the chef. The fish was very fresh and the spicy dressing was matching well with it. For the next dish I chose pappardelle with pheasant. I had never tried this dish before but It was just so delicous! and the portion was generous too. My friend opted for fillet steak. It was cooked amazingly tender ! We tried a very nice red Italian wine to go with our main meals called YUME meas dream, which was recommended by the manager of the restaurant, who is a sommelier . To finish our dinner we orderd Tiramisu. It was also very good!. We really enjoyed our dinner at Rosmarino. The staff were friendly and the service was very professional through out.

Three of us ate here for dinner in May 2007. We received a warm, friendly welcome and the service remained good humoured and attentive. Two of us chose lamb which turned out to be rather tough and bland in taste. My wife chose the duck breast which she described as tough and under-cooked. The extra vegetables were prepared in a very plain style and the side dish of cabbage had been badly selected and was, for the most part inedible. Roast potatoes disappointed - soft texture as if they were re-heated?
Deserts of Tiramisu and Berry's Tart were chosen. The Berry's Tart was nicely presented but the accompanying ice cream had to be requested and, again, the taste of the tart was uninspiring.
Main courses were around £18.50 and only included small portions of vegetables. With modest amounts of alcohol (two beers, four glasses of red wine) and coffee the final bill came to £130 which, for the quality of the cooking, represented very poor value. We will not be returning!

Had an enjoyable dinner here with my parents on Saturday evening. Booked earlier that afternoon and they were most accommodating in finding us a table in the conservatory at the front of the restaurant. Nice restaurant although the candle lighting was a little dark for my father to read the menu. Starters of carpaccio and parma ham were delicious, octopus salad also good but bread served with it seemed excessive considering the ample bread basket we had had in advance. For the pasta and main courses the fish far surpassed the meat choices - the tuna, snapper and sea bass were excellent as was the fettuccine with salmon. The wild boar pasta and the lamb were in comparison disappointing, my partner found one lamb cutlet, although large, to be a small portion. We refrained from dessert but the small pastries served with our coffee were delicious. On the whole a thoroughly enjoyable evening and I would go back. Bill was £50 per head, for 2/3 courses, wine, aperitif, water and coffee.
