After hearing mixed reviews about this place i just had to go and have a look for myself. This is a highly underrated place although even when i got there it was very quiet the staff were attentive and willing to help in any way. The food was tasty with truly Italian flavors. Definitely worth trying, give it a few months and this restaurant will be the most talked about restaurant. Its an upcoming business area and i wouldn't be surprised if they are very busy at lunchtimes especially as the food is so reasonable in price but terrific in taste. A definate place to have a quiet meal in the evening with a loved one or a group of girlfriends.

my colleagues and i were looking for a new venue for our yearly christmas party. we decided to have it at Nelsons after finding good reviews from this website. we phoned up a week before and asked for a christmas menu. They sent us the menu by post and we booked it for 45 people the following day. the prices were excellent and we got a much better meal than where we had been in previous years.

the service and atmosphere were so warm and friendly with a really christmas feel to the place. sitting in the conservatory under the stars helped the christmas feel even more.

Tony the manager was a lovely guy and was helpful with eveything we needed even though the place was busy.

We will definately be returning there again for next years christmas party.

we had our work Christmas Meal here, and the service that we received could not be faulted. The food was excellent. As far as I am aware there was not one single problem.

I had lunch there today, the restaurant is light and airy after its revamp, and the food and service excellent, they have a small beer garden in the basement and they have themed the restaurant area downstairs with a Moroccan theme, but not the food.
