Feng Sushi (Notting Hill Gate)

This appears to be a chain primarily focused on take-aways, but the Notting Hill branch has a small and simple room upstairs with big windows that suits what I imagined would be a relatively inexpensive lunch.
I am not particularly used to Japanese food, but everything that my host chose was delicious, so we ordered more, which I am told is not uncommon, as plates are relatively minimalist! The cost should not have surprised me because good seafood is expensive, but £80 including tip for a relatively quick lunch for two seemed a lot. Luckily I was being treated!
I had mistakenly gone to the branch in Kensington Church Street first. This was minute, with two small and cramped tables behind the take-away counter. Not somewhere that I would recommend for a first date!
