We have visited Casa Verde on a number of occasions with numbers in our party ranging from just 2 to 19 with a variety of ages from 4 to 87. We have always found the service and food to be excellent. The waiters are always helpful and friendly and the owners Tim and Amanda are both friendly and professional and have become more like friends. We will continue to use Casa Verde for all our special occasions and general eating out.

We had 19 for Sunday Lunch at Casa Verde and a big mix of ages and appetites. They looked after us wonderfully amending a sauce or omiting an ingredient not liked - a very personal touch. Our group came from various parts of the country, all discerning people and all expressed their delight with the food, service and atmosphere. Highly recommended.

I have been to this restaurant quite a few times and have allways found the food to be fantastic. The service has been professional and friendly. The owner always gives a warm welcome and makes one feel at home. This is a true family run restaurant and well worth a visit.

Restaurant beautifully laid out with pleasant bar and welcoming staff. But the veal escalope we ordered was completely tasteless. Drinks also grossly overpriced - £15 for a Peroni beer and two small glasses house white!

I suffer from MS and as a result use a wheelchair. The staff at Casa Verde have never pretended that their restaurant is 100% disabled friendly, the layout of the building itself would make it near impossible. However, in my experience the staff are incredidbly friendly and helpful and went to every possible length to accomodate my needs. I only have positive things to say about the people that work there and as for the food, that is also of a high quality and greatly enjoyable. As a result of all this I have revisited Casa Verde on more than one occasion and would easily recommend it to anyone as a very enjoyable evening out.

Despite them telling you the restaurant is wheelchair acessible IT IS NOT.

A wheelchair can just about get into a toilet cubicle but then it is not possible to close the toilet door afterwards!

The staff were incredible unhelpful and I had to rely on other customers to move tables and a sofa out of the way to enable me to just reach the toilets.

If you are a wheelchair user avoid this place.

The food was also over priced and very bland.

We visited the Casa Verde for the first time on Saturday 8 July 2006, the food was excellent as was the service. The menu includes all the items you would expect of an Italian Restaurant and the 'Specials of the Day' provided a choice of some great alternatives. The owners, Tim and Amanda, are very proud of their restaurant and they deserve to be, just one small criticism, the lighting is too bright and needs to be toned down and, perhaps, a few areas need to a fresh coat of paint to improve the decor.

This is an excellent choice for a meal on east London! the service is something you wont find anywhere, you will be well served and treated as royalty. The atmosphere is quite nice, such a good place to have your meal with your family, friends and is a good place to have your party too. They have a bar apart , where you are allowed to smoke and choose a drink from a good variety of wines and other drinks.

certainly you wont regret on cheking this place.

hugs to Tim and Amanda

The food is wonderful - but they never seem to check their answerphone messages and are not open during the day so several times we have gone elsewhere

Our party of six visited Casa Verde this Saturday after we were strongly recommended by one of our friends. We had to agree with our friend that the service and atmosphere was absolutely excellent. The waiters were very friendly and gave service with a smile.

Our food was wonderful and extremley tasty. And to top it off we were all in agreement that our meal was great value for money. A big thumbs up for Casa Verde. We will definitely be making a return visit.
