I took my parents here a couple of weeks ago and I'm surprised to read the reviews on here. I took a trip through South America myself in April of this year so I was lucky enough to have sampled genuine Peruvian cuisine and I thought the food at Tito's was just great.
My best tip is to get a jug of the Pisco Sours - fantastic start to the night. All four of us (my boyfriend who is the biggest foodie around came too) really enjoyed our entrees and our mains and we all shared everything we had.
Food prices were resonable for the generous portions and the waitress was fantastic - helping Mum find a gluten free option (of which there were plenty) and helpfully explaining how all the dishes were prepared.
I enjoyed it so much I'm going back again tonight.

This is definitely not a bad restaurant, but neither is it outstanding. Only one of us had a starter, which was OK. It was nothing special, and served a bit cold.
The mains all arrived together despite the orders being placed separately. The food was reasonably well presented and overall quite tasty. I would have preferred things a little spicier, but it was not too far off. The portions were quite good for the price.
Service was fast (which we wanted) but friendly. All the staff had smiles on the faces, were polite and courteous. The bill was quite reasonable and I think reflected the quality of the meal.
The only real drawback was that the background music was not in the background, making conversation difficult.
I would certainly go back to this little place.

This is the first time I have tried Peruvian cusine and I can't say I will rushing back
As a positive the service was very good and the waiters very helpful and friendly. As a negative the room is too bright and lacks atmosphere, fine with a group of friends but not a place for a romantic meal.
I would best describe the food as average- nothing to complain about but nothing to praise. Cerviche starter was tasty but lacked spice. Seco de Cordero, lamb was well cooked but lacked flavour and the mound of rice&peas was stodgy- needed some vegetables to accompany it.
I don't know whether this is authentic Peruvian cusine, or whether there are any better Peruvian restaurants in London. After consideration I for one have decided to leave Peruvian cuisine alone. Uninspiring.

I took my girlfriend to eat here last night. Having been on a trip to Peru in May and enjoying the food while I was there, I was looking forward to showing her the cuisine. I had the ceviche to start which was too chunky and too tangy, with not enough spice. The hen in cheese sauce was pretty tasteless and we were both very disappointed.
Very disappointed too with the atmosphere of the place...no traditional music, plain white walls and minimal decoration.
On the plus side, the waiter/ress were both polite and helpful.
I've not experienced Tito's as a lunchtime venue, but I wouldn't recommend it as a romantic meal venue in it's current state.

I’ve been to Tito’s a number of times and enjoyed the authenticity of the Peruvian restaurant immensely every time. This review will recall the experience of the first time I visited Tito’s.
I was greeted with a smile and the complete attention of the staff manning the front bar. This is taken for granted by many restaurants these days I find. The welcome experience at Tito’s really adds to the special occasion of eating out in London Bridge.
I was looking to enjoy a cocktail while I waited to be joined by my friend the waiting staff recommended a traditional Peruvian cocktail called ‘Pisco Sour’ which was one of the most appetizing cocktail I have ever tasted.
There were many starters being passed around our table once we started eating, which where all superbly presented and tasted exquisite particularly the sheep’s heart which came with a trickle of sauce, the meat was very tender, I found that dish extremely more-ish.
For a main course I had the ‘Sew de Cordero’, which was also very well received. The lamb meat again was very tender and must have been slow cooked for hours. This came with rice and beans which complemented the flavours of coriander impeccably. The helping where quite large, though I understand this is what customers of from Latin America expect from a tradition Peruvian restaurant (pointed out by my Mexican friend).
The meal ended with a traditional Peruvian shortbread biscuit which was delectable, a nice light way to finish my first visit to the Latin quarter of London Bridge.
All of the staff looked of Latin persuasion which helps me to believe I was buying into the sense of legitimacy you want when you visit a restaurant such as Tito’s. Overall I found the restaurant a tremendously pleasurable experience.

As a Peruvian myself I feel obliged to review this restaurant. I have heard a lot of terrible stuff about Tito's, even like this I have decided to go with my French Chef Husband who takes eating very seriously as part of his job and who also loves peruvian food.
Before starting I would like to specified what I have heard about this place from other peruvians: -Tasteless -Not peruvian taste -Rude staff, arrogant specially with Peruvians
So very scared we when there, 2 reasons: 1) They sell Inca Kola, our national fizzy drink that can not be of taste of everybody but we love. 2) They serve Alfajores as dessert and this is very difficult to find, the other peruvian restaurant in London never has Alfajores and this is my favourite dessert.
Our meal: We ordered a Ceviche, well done if we consider we are not in Peru. For a peruvian I guess it was not spiced enough but this can't be a bad thing considering peruvian tend to be too spicy for some tourists specially those who doesnt' have peppers in their countries like the french.
My Husband ordered a Pato al aji con Tacu Tacu. He said the duck was very good, it needed some salt and of course my mum in peru would have make it more tasty but it was still very good. The tacu tacu, good as well, very heavy, but to be honest tacu tacu is rice and peas so we shouldn't expect a light green salad. My husband was happy after all with his dish. Now me:
I got the Arroz con Mariscos, seeafood and rice. By now I am a professional in this dish as is what I order almost in every peruvian restaurant even in Peru. I love it. In Tito's it was ok, once again not spiced enough for a peruvian and not just talking about pepper but it needed a little taste, but just a little. I had a lot of sea food which is great, overall I have to say it was good, just not exactly like at home but I am sure not everybody in Peru cooks as tasty as my mum does, so ok.Pisco Sour, once again Ok but too sweet, and of course you can cheat on me talking about lemon and that was not lemon but a kind of sirup, which made the job cause in whole was good but I have done better at home.
The staff was nice and I was relieved they did not jumped on me as they do in other peruvian restaurants.
So I would say Tito's is not a traditional peruvian restaurant but it's a good intriduction to Europeans, specially English to start them to Peruvian food without being too spicy scary.
I will come back. There is another restaurant in London ' El Aguajal' more tasty but look like a corner restaurant in Peru and can become very noisy and unprofessional but they are nice and do very good food much more traditional, I still think the difference is not huge.
To finish, I have to say London needs a better Peruvian restaurant as in Paris there are quite a lot much more tasty and within a beautiful decor like 'El Chalan'...just if you go to Paris don't try 'La Pachamanca' in front of the 'Pompidou' as is tasteless, rude, too little and apart from the owner no one is Peruvian there.
Hope this peruvian point of view helps and you are all very welcome to Peru to try real peruvian food as it has to be :)

Firstly, I have lived in Buenos Aires for over a year and eaten in many Peruvian restaurants whilst living there.
I was amazed that Tito's do not offer 'Chaufa' as a dish (only on weekends), as this is a standard dish in every Peruvian restaurant.
The 'lomo saltado' that i ordered was expensive considering the beef was tough and the rice was dry and not freshly made.
The worst thing about my experience was the owner questioning me asking him for coriander to add to the dish. He was very rude, and inhospitable. Arrogance is never acceptable, not even in the best restaurants and Tito's is FAR from it.
