Sirous Tapas Bar & Restaurant

Am amazed with the good review this restaurant got.
First of all how can a restaurant pretend to serve Spanish food when they don't even have the classic dishes like Serrano or hiberico ham?
The food we received was definitely below average. Even the olives we got were or badly marinated or passed. With so many good restaurants in the area no wonder the restaurant was more than half empty.

I ventured down here for a late breakfast last weekend and had heard good reviews from my flatmate. However things must have taken a turn for the worst. Not only was I ignored when I sat down, I had to pay £1 extra to have my eggs scrambles (how hard can it be)and was charged an extra £1 for toast on top of the £4 for the big breakfast which was anything but. The best I can say is that they have a good selection of newspapers to keep you entertained whilst you wait for a member of staff to acknowledge your presence!

This was our first time at Sirous, and will not be the last.
The food was simply outstanding, and very well priced. The service was second to none, with two very helpful and pleasant waitresses.
What topped the night off was the relaxed atmosphere, were we were fully able to enjoy all Sirous Tapas had to offer.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants the complete dining experience.
